Overview
Located in Los Barriles, just a 1-hour drive north from Los Cabos International Airport, Hotel Playa del Sol overlooks the beautiful Sea of Cortez. It offers an outdoor pool with a palapa bar and stunning sea views. The colourful rooms are air conditioned and feature views of the pool, the gardens or the ocean. All rooms have a small fridge, a ceiling fan and a private bathroom with a shower. Los Barriles Beach is 200 metres from the hotel, and Buena Vista Beach is 3.8 km away. Cabo San Lucas is within a 90-minute drive, while the Cabo Pulmo National Park is 55 km away. The Playa del Sol offers on-site tennis and volleyball courts, while charter motor boats are available from the hotel’s dock. Golf, kayaking, hiking and horse riding are popular in the surrounding area.

“Have already recommended this place to others as a,simple relaxing beach place plan to visit again.”
Casual beach place. Great, " endless" feeling, beach walking south. Rentals for paddleboard, kayak, kite surf etc. Wind picks up around noon, so, swim in the morning! Breakfast and simple lunch, dinner available on site. Fresh! Many other options for meals available in this little town.

“Good value. Amazing location.”
The location is amazing and the ability to use the sister resort was awesome. The access to 26 nearby pickleball courts was amazing, as was access to the beach.

“Lovely views, nice pool and beach, lousy internet, no microwave. Dated facility.”
I loved the location and the fact that the hotel is directly on the beach, with a nice pool. The staff were very helpful, to the extent that they could be.

“Will be back”
Epic location , friendly helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Tomas at reception helped us book a last minute fishing trip which was so good we had the best time. Nice big pool and good poolside bar not the flashiest place if you are looking for 5 start but more than enough for us. Hope to come back

Great location in town in a glorious beach. A no frills hotel but provided all we needed. Lovely big pool And great beach bar - thank you Leo and Martine!! Thanks also To Tomas for arranging a doctor visit very promptly. We will return
