Great hotel and location. The rooms were set up really nice and comfortable. The hotel have bikes you can use which is really good and makes it fun to ride to the piers.

We arrived pretty late after a long day of flying and they offered us water, a quick run down of what was in the area/a sheet of suggested dining options. We got slightly later check out provided to us and we were able to leave our bags with staff for the day. They also allowed us to come back to use the wifi, bathroom etc after we checked out which was great when we had a 20+ hour commute to look forward to after check out. The location was great, lots to see in a quick visit.

Excellent comfort and location in Venice. You can borrow a bike and a beach towel. There’s a coffee machine in the room and lots of restaurants around for breakfast, lunch and diner. I also liked the style of the hotel and the ambiance. Loved the view from the room.

“Horrible Experience”

At the hotel arrival, outside I had a weird encounter with a group of 3 young guys - who made weird sexual noises staring at me - it was super late at night and it smelled weed all around and I got scared and upset. Afterwards I did not like the room at all : interior looked like a teenager bedroom, horrible view on a parking lot - depressing - loud small fridge by the bed and a lighting design that does not feel comfortable at all. At the reception in the morning, I had to deal with two members of staff who had a very passive agressive attitude : they showed me a Cctv video of my arrival and explained me that I was basically a Liar ( yes they called me a liar in front of other client at the reception) and that I quote «  I was an adult and I probably scared off these 3 innocents, that my perception of what happened was wrong and that I was the oppressor and not the victim. I left the place immediately and I got charge 2 nights… I think anybody working in hospitality will agree : An hotel should be a welcoming place - comfortable, safe and when you are treated by the staff with patience and compassion. I deeply regret what happened nobody at a hotel or human being should have to justify/ explain themselves if they feel uncomfortable, this was unacceptable. I am currently working on a complain with Booking and I will spread the word - I see already many bad reviews or similar comments regarding the area at night and the staff attitude.

Location to Venice beach . You are on Venice beach ! Staff helpful and just really nice people. Hotel a little quirky, but super comfortable.

Best location on Venice Beach. Complementary beach cruisers and skateboards meant we were on our way. Food court in front of hotel had delicious food.

Proximity to the ocean. Aesop toiletries. Bicycles available for hire. Staff were pleasant.
