“MANY RESTRICTIONS”

MANY RESTRICTIONS, the tourist goes on vacation and usually arrives late. If you return after 11pm to 7am you CANNOT take a shower, also can't cook for save money

Friendly staffs Kitchen to cook simple dishes and some ingredients and appliances provided (microwave oven, purified water, bread, cup noodle, spoons and kitchen tools) Local moods Customers were friendly as well to mingle and helped each other.

Staff and owner of property was good but my room mate disturbed me a lot i couldn't sleep after 28 hours journey. She made lot of noises and woke me up 5 times in the middle of night that i left the property early morning 4am as she didn't let me sleep making noises periodically wirh gap of 30 to 40 minutes

The host was very kind and the bus close to the house that goes straight away to Venice beach.

It was surprising to know that they provide a breakfast for guests with such a low price. I didn't expect anything because the price was so low even in comparison with all other dormitory type guest house. It was very popular to young travellers from all the world so it's somewhat hard to secure your own privacy at all, and yet, the hosting couple were so wonder and kind to meet any needs from all the guest. Super great! Sure that I will be there again, whenever I travel to LA!

“Not adapted to leisure or tourists”

I rarely give bad reviews as I often have nice stays wherever I book, and I always book carefully doing research and considering many factors. In the case of this accomodation I happened to have misjudged its quality when booking. The photos are probably old and not representative of how the place currently look like. It is a sleep house/ sleep retailers, there are beds in all the rooms including in the entrance/living room. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms with all 3 to 4 beds in it (4 in the one I was) and one small bathroom with the toilets inside! The owners/housekeepers live inside the house as well. As soon as you arrive they tell you everything you can’t use, which is pretty much everything outside the bathroom,the microwave in the kitchen a fridge at the back ( the main one is out of boundaries), and your bed. You are asked to remove your shoes before your enter and wear slippers you pick out of a pile in a bucket, none of them are clean, this is really not hygienic. There is clutter and personal belongings everywhere, no place for you to feel comfortable outside your bed and the front porch which is also cluttered with all the shoes of all the people that are leaving long term here (lots of students it seems or young professionals). broken furnitures and other odd pieces. They rent the front and backyard for parking $5 a night, so nothing nice to look at here either, it’s a parking lot. I shared the room on my last night with a person who was Cleary experiencing hardship and was homeless and seeking a night somewhere for some respite. I have nothing against this however this place should not be advertised to tourists, it does not have its spot as a hostel/hotel or Any other type of touristic accomodation, it is not one!

The location, it’s very easy to get to the buses. The rooms were clean, and the bed was somewhat comfortable
