Situated on a private Island on Laja River, Hotel Salto is 50 metres from the Laja Waterfalls. It offers a 9-hole golf course, 35-hectares of park and horse-drawn carriages for rent. Guests at Salto Resort can ski in the Antuco Resort, which is 1 hour away by car, or in Nevados de Chillan, a 2-hour drive away. They can also hike in the Mapuche Nature Reserve, a 90-minutes drive away, or enjoy the outdoor pool, which has stunning waterfall views. We loved the property overall. Our family took the opportunity to walk the grounds. We spent time at the various falls, strolled the river, and cycled around the animal park. We also enjoed the hottub - a real treat! The breakfast was also great.

Lovely views of the Salto from the room, with the sound of the waterfall in the background. The rooms were rustic, staff pleasant and breakfast buffet provided with the usual array of food. A good place to stay to cut a long journey, or with kids to visit the falls and park. Nicely isolated from the tourist mayhem at the Salto.

Superb location and views, the waterfalls feel like your very own staying here and they are impressive, like a mini Iguassu! Lovely walks around the park the hotel is in and a super natural pond to swim in as well as a regular pool. Good value and tasty food at the restaurant I. The evening and good breakfast too. The whole place has a calm and relaxing vibe but with everything you need. Special.

You're 20 steps away from the salto. Really beautiful surroundings. Interesting wildlife. Accessibility is good. At Easter we received a basket with chocolate eggs as a gift. Very nice.
