Everything was perfect - amazingly beautiful location in the forest but very close to the town. We were greeted and treated the whole time like we were a member of the host's family. The breakfast was gourmet restaurant quality and the wine, cheese and scones were the best we have ever had.

The property is beautifully designed and appointed with wonderful artworks cleverly positioned as if they were always part of the landscape. The Pavillions were gorgeous and comfortable with beautiful touches. We felt very relaxed in the surrounds.

Beautiful daily breakfast through the art gallery with view of property, sculptures and garden. Beautiful Japanese style rooms, very tranquil and cozy. Staff were amazing I felt truly at home it was a very special experience.

We loved our stay here so much. Gill was the sweetest most considerate host and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The sculpture garden and gallery is beautiful as is the cafe, and the rooms are super comfortable and tranquil. Everything feels very intentional and designed with love. The breakfast was excellent and very delicious. Service from Gill and her staff was brilliant throughout our stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Top quality service and a 10/10 accommodation. We really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location surrounded by nature combined with amazing art and a sculpture park. There are also some hiking trails close to the accommodation and Lorne beach is also good accessible by car. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. If we ever come back to Lorne we will definitely stay again at Qdos.

“Incredible stay in the trees”

Our host was very welcoming, we had some lovely welcome drinks and was shown to our room. The room itself is amazing, up in the trees and in Japanese style. Very spacious and comfortable! Breakfast was also very tasty, we were well looked after. Excellent location as just minutes away from the beach and the town centre.

Jill was an amazing host and the experience we had was exceptional. Jill assured us to get a table at a local restaurant even gave us a lift there and back . Made us feel welcome and made our stay extra special.

If you are new to Australia, Qdos offers an opportunity to spend time among nature. For me, I wanted to experience the outdoors in preference to an "in town" hotel or similar. Gill as a host was superb and made me feel very much at home from the first minute. Breakfast we very enjoyable, I chose a local Sourdough bread as one of several options. The rooms are private and offer much more of a "get away from it all" experience than might be the case with a traditional hotel.

From the moment we arrived, Jill made us feel so welcome and made sure we were settled in our treehouse. The scenery is incredible and the treehouse was comfortable. We loved absolutely everything about our stay — from Gillian’s warm hospitality and incredible attention to detail, to the serene atmosphere and the exceptional quality of our accommodation. With only five beautifully designed units, the space felt intimate and special. The Japanese-inspired style added a unique and calming touch that made our stay truly memorable. It was so quiet and peaceful, tucked away just five minutes from the bustle of Lorne. We were surrounded by trees and birdsong — a perfect retreat into nature. We also really enjoyed having access to the gallery, which added a lovely cultural element to the experience. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was a perfect 10 out of 10. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. We’ll definitely be coming back without a moment’s hesitation.
