Location next to several supermarkets- convenient for a long stay..the place was nice, the owner/care-taker was helpful…

We arrived in the late afternoon after a 4-hour drive and discovered that there were no keys in the key box. As the owner was out of town, her husband came with a large set of keys; after trying many of them, he managed to open the door, only for us to find that the room was already occupied. Apparently, an elderly couple had taken the wrong set of keys and spent the night in our room. What I find unacceptable is that no one noticed, and the room had clearly not been cleaned prior to our arrival, as the cleaning staff would have immediately realized it was occupied. We had to explain the situation to the couple, who apologized and left. We requested that the room be cleaned and went to dinner while waiting. I explained the entire situation to the owner by phone and made it clear that this was unacceptable. Her response was: “As long as you can sleep there, you’ll be fine,” which was extremely upsetting. When we returned, the room had not been properly cleaned. Only the bed sheets were changed. The bathroom was dirty, with clipped nails on the floor, toothpaste residue in the sink, and even traces of feces in the toilet. The room itself is also very poor: it appears to be an office converted into a bedroom. The “double room” is simply divided by a thin partition with no real separation or privacy. The room smelled bad, the bathroom is outdated, and there are no power outlets near the beds, making it impossible to charge a phone. There was even a bedside lamp with no socket to plug it in. Given the situation and the dismissive attitude of the owner, we requested a free cancellation and left as soon as possible. STAY AWAY AND CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The cleanliness and modernity top notch. Maria Elena super good host greeting us and explaining particulars of use to be comfortable. Very nice stove, microwave, frig, sink and kitchen set up with necessary pots pans etc.

The location was on the busiest corner in Loreto. The traffic noise was brutal,all day all night noise. This alone will keep me from staying there again. Several sleepless nights.

Close to grocery stores, bank, pharmacy. One block to main pedestrian plaza and restaurants. Ten minute walk to the malecon and waterfront.

Our apartment was exactly as expected, based on photos, reviews and Google Earth view. Our host was EXCELLENT at communication, with questions being answered within a very short period of time. She met us on arrival, and we agreed that we would communicate with the Booking.com app - which provides immediate translation. After the first day we picked up a few small items at a "dollar store" and requested a couple of more expensvie items (ie - small pot, can opener, etc) and our host arrived with those items in less than 24 hours. An issue with the water tank was resolved very quickly, and once again our host was hands on, delivering water to our door. Our interactions with our host were excellent. As mentioned by others, we were close to the center square, grocery stores only 5 minute walk, and less than 15 minutes to the beach. We walked everywhere, every day. (We met others who stayed in Nopolo who said that they would not stay there again because they were isolated without a car.) This whole community felt very safe. -

The host, Maria Elena, is very friendly and eager to help you have a good stay - despite the fact we don't speak Spanish, we were able to communicate our questions and requests via the Booking.com translator and she was always very prompt to respond. The location is very central for whatever you want to do in Loreto and the accommodation was spacious enough for two people for nine days and there is good security over the access to the properties. . Overall, I would say it is a pretty good choice for a stay in Loreto.

The location was great with the beach, supermarkets and eating places just a short walk away, also a cashpoint and pharmacy on the doorstep. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a shared outside terrace. The host was pleasant and helpful.
