“Very comfortable stay. Very kind host.”
Giolo House is located in a quiet residential part of Loreto and within easy walking distance of the main square (a little uphill coming back). The house has been renovated with care and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay, including good heating during Winter. The star of Giolo House though is Francesco. As I was arriving by train, he picked me up from the station at the start of my stay and gave me a guided tour of the house. He also provided restaurant recommendations and advised where to pick up groceries. With the only taxi service fully booked at the time of my departure and Francesco also unavailable, he arranged for his father to take me to the station. The generosity of both father and son was very much appreciated by me and is what I will remember my stay at Giolo House for the most.
