outstanding, as always. The food and companionship is stellar. Michael and Gudrun are wonderful and great fun to chat with. I highly recommend them and this cabin!

“Peace and quiet getaway”

Very quiet and peaceful, no noise aside from the trees and water. Hosts are welcoming and very hospitable. They give you your space but are readily available when needed. Property is beautiful as well as the studio cabin. 3 dogs to smile and wag their tails while you enjoy your morning cup of coffee. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Gudrun and Michael!

“Cariboo summer stay on Horse Lake.”

The cabin is a small studio with a private deck a small kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. The owners live next door and blended attentiveness with respect for privacy nicely. It was exactly what I was looking for. I biked, paddled my board and relaxed. I did not mind the 80 steps down to the lake.

Host was very friendly & helpful. She had mixed nuts, Bubbly water & toiletries if needed. Very comfy bed. Lots of room. Quiet & private.

“Cabin above the lake in a quiet park like setting.”

Location of the cabin was behind the house and buildings so no view of the lake. But the deck was large with a picnic table so good to sit outside if the weather permits. Complete kitchen, with supply of glasses, plates and utensil. The bathroom was a good size. There was a canoe available to paddle around the lake or fish-but to get to the dock a steep 80+ steps. Good for conditioning though.

“Awesome Staycation!”

Magnificent little get away spot situated in a secluded country backdrop . The hosts are incredible and after only one night stay..I actually called and asked to stay another once I'd already checked out for the day. So accommodating. I would highly recommend this stay for a get away either romantic or just a reprive from the city this is definitely the place!
