Africa Roots is an eco-friendly holiday park located just 80 metres from the beach in Lompoul-sur-Mer. The beachfront restaurant serves Senegalese cuisine and the authentic bungalows offer garden views. Equipped with satellite TV, a telephone and a fan, the bungalows all feature a furnished terrace. Each has a seating area and a private bathroom that is fitted with a shower. A continental breakfast is prepared every morning at this property. Local products are freshly prepared every day for meals in the restaurant, Bio. Incredibly situated hotel. You are literally alone in a tropical garden next to a lonely, beautiful beach. The manager was very helpful in all we asked and helped us a lot with the transfer to asphalt (we were there on two heavy motorbikes)

The place is so pleasant, peaceful and coloured! It's in front of the se and bungalows has anything you may need: shower, lavabo and so on. Breakfast is complete and very good, it includes both salty and sweet food

Extrem unfriendly staff! Completely overpriced food (10.000) for a standard meal. No chance to go to another place for dinner.

We were happy with our room, the really friendly staff, how the accomodaties looked like, the place near de beach (swimming there is wonderfull; high waves and a totaal empty beach). The meals were good. And they arranged a tour to the dessert when we wanted to. A little paradise!

We had a great stay and wished we could spend more time there. The staff were great and the place is really well kept and clean. There was a lovely pool and it was on the beach. The a/c worked and the food was great. Highly recommend.

“Relaxation by the beach”
Africa Roots is a great lodge for a relaxing stay on the Lompoul coast. The daily spectacle of people using the beach to go back and forth to Lompoul sur Mer market is endlessly fascinating. Also great food and friendly staff.
