Overview
Encijan Apartments are set in the charming Alpine village of Log pod Mangartom, 8 km from Bovec. It is surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the Julian Alps. All apartments are fully equipped, providing cooking facilities and private bathroom. During winter the hotel offers a private ski slope with a lift. Log pod Mangartom in North West Slovenia is just 7 km from the Italian and 20 km from the Austrian border, and it lies in the heart of Triglav National Park.

“Very nice”
The room was neat and very clean. We had everything we needed. The host was super kind! Sadly the pool was closed. We think as it was pretty cold. But it looked really nice. As did the views. Absolutely amazing. We couldn't stay very long but there's so much to do in the area.

I highly recommend this place! The location is beautiful, especially if you want to visit Mangart Saddle in the morning or if you want to hike along Koritnica and see some pretty waterfalls. The apartment is in a small mountain town, which is not nearly as commercialised as Bovec or other larger places, and it is not crowded. It is very easy to find and there is free parking on site. Some previous comments mention broken windows - those are fixed now. We found the room very comfortable. We didn't use kitchen equipment, but that is also available in the room. And nothing can beat an evening swim in a pool with a view of the mountains. Well, if you prefer, you can also swim in natural pools nearby, but the water there is a bit colder. Right next to the accommodation is a restaurant with outside sitting and the best possible views of Mangart and Jalovec.

“A little piece of heaven.”
The location is amazing.. the views are stunning. The apartment was perfect, everything we needed. The pool was really great, it is surrounded by beautiful mountains and scenery. The host Blaz was fantastic, he was very helpful and offered loads of great advice on places to see in the area, many of which we got to thanks to him. There’s a great pub / restaurant next door.

We have been on the road for two weeks and it was the best place. Great location for hiking, next to fantastic restaurant, stunning views, very friendly staff! Super comfortable (and new!) beds

The location of the appartements is great, our room was spatious and clean, the pool was nice and clean and the view was amazing. It was also very quiet which we loved!!! Also the host Barbara at the réception was extremely friendly, very helpful, flexible, smiley and made our stay even better.

“Moved to sister hotel - Hotel Alpine”
The staff were amazing. We first arrived to find our room had a bad odor and one of the windows didn't open due to the age. The room was extremely hot and could not be aired out because of the non functioning window. The staff were incredible and tried to move us to another room that was not suitable for our family. The building itself was dated and appeared to be in need of some updates. They found us a room at their sister hotel Hotel Alpine which was AMAZING! Beautiful hotel, amazing room with many functioning windows, incredible staff, breakfast and a pizzeria on site. Thank you Encijan staff for being so helpful in finding us a suitable room.

“Extremely overpriced”
Location was nice, however next to a busy road, close to all important must-sees. Personal was lovely, though. The swimming pool small, thought, the kids loved it.

Nice quite place as expected. Fantastic breakfast. Nice girl at the reception. Room was spacy and comfortable. We didn't use the pool due to weather conditions, but it is available at the property. nice view from the balcony. Free parking.

It's a lovely house with a lovely host. Comfortable rooms with magnificent views, plenty of breakfast, good coffee in a peaceful environment. Restaurant next door is also a must try.
