Overview
Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. The electric car charging can be ordered for an additional fee. A flat-screen satellite TV are provided in each Hotel Ullensvang room. Some include a balcony and a view over the fjord. On-site facilities include a fitness centre, hot tub, indoor tennis court, as well as a children's playroom on request. Ullensvang Hotel also has row boats. The restaurant serves a set 3 course menu which changes every day, while Restaurant Zanoni is only open for lunch. Odda town centre and Trolltunga viewing point are both 30 km from the hotel. Hardangervidda Nature Centre in Eidfjord and the Vøringsfossen Waterfall are 45 km away.

“Great stay but beware of the car park!”
We had a great stay at Hotel Ullensvang. The room was big and the spa was a great addition - we thoroughly enjoyed going in the pools, sauna and hot tub, all with stunning views of the fjord and mountains! The breakfast was also delicious with lots of choice.

“Exceptionally delicious, beautiful, and atmospheric.”
The hotel has a beautiful location with breathtaking views of the fjords. The property is very well maintained and spacious. The hotel has a charming old-fashioned style that gives it a unique character and makes it feel almost like a museum. The breakfast was exceptionally large, varied, and delicious, with a huge selection of different options. A very nice bonus was the spacious bathroom with heated floors. The staff was very friendly and provided quick service. Another highlight was the beautiful panoramic spa area, even though it is not very large.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful scenery. The pool was great but the outside 88m pool was very cold. The food was good, but the buffet dinner was very expensive. Ping pong table was fun with the kids. Walkable to apple cider orchards.

“Norway Fijord”
Amazing view, friendly staff. Big and very clean room. And as a bonus there is a heated outdoor pool which provides a fantastic feeling after the sunset.

Really liked our stay here, some may say it s dated but it was very taken care of and clean and we loved it. Great spa and pool facilities, great restaurant and staff. We really loved the room and the view. Definitely a great place.

From the moment we arrived, Hotel Ullensvang felt like stepping into a dream. Nestled between majestic fjords and snow-capped mountains, the location alone is worth the trip — but what truly makes it extraordinary is the warmth and attention to detail from the entire team. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views that change with the light of day. Waking up to the sight of the fjord was pure magic. The infinity pool overlooking the water is simply spectacular, and the wellness facilities are spotless, serene, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional, with fresh, local ingredients and a variety that caters to every taste — all served in a dining room with panoramic views. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment special, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Hotel Ullensvang is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience of comfort, beauty, and Norwegian hospitality at its finest. I cannot recommend it enough, and I’m already planning my return.
