The welcoming collection for breakfast was perfect and was able to sustain us for quite some time! The property appears to have been refurbished recently to a very high standard. The quality of the linen was excellent and the location was perfect both as a base to explore further and to stay, relax and enjoy the local food and wine. Very impressed. Our host was responsive and very helpful.

“Wonderful property and fantastic host”

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Veronica’s place for 11 days. The property is wonderful. As mentioned in other reviews, it’s laid out on two floors so not for people with mobility issues. You have to be prepared to climb some stairs but we got used to it after a day or two. The property is beautifully decorated, equipped with all you need to have a comfortable stay and it was immaculately clean. It’s at the very edge of the historic centre of Locorotondo which makes it a truly special location. There are paid parking spaces very close to the property (there are a few unpaid spaces but impossible to find a free one during summer months). Veronica was a fantastic host. She provided helpful recommendations, messaged us to make sure we were ok and left some wine and local treats for us which was a lovely gestures. We recommend this property with all our hearts!

The apartment is well located way walking distance to the historic part of town yet quiet . We used this as a base for visiting other towns and beaches around the area and it worked well. The apartment is a modern with quality furniture and fixtures . Loved the quality towels,Nespresso machine with plenty of pods and bottle of local wine kindly left.

“Excellently located and presented two storey townhouse that we highly recommend”

Beautifully presented two story townhouse that was spotlessly clean in a perfect location. Lovely welcome wine and Italian biscuits and some essentials like milk, butter and yoghurt in the fridge awaiting us on arrival. We would thoroughly recommend this house. Though this didn’t affect us, be mindful that there are steep steps over two levels. The car was parked in a secure garage just around the corner from the house.

We enjoyed the convenience being in the old town and the option to leave the car there. However, what is the main and most fascinating is the property. It’s perfectly well integrated so to combine the ancient stone interior with modern design and technologies. It is a house you can enjoy, created with care and vision, very clean, accommodating for a perfect stay. We communicated well with the owner, really precious care and help with local cozy restaurant proposals we found to be truly lovely and charming. Well done and thank you for your lovely accommodation (plenty of towels, consumables and some extra special attention details and sweets). Take care and very best regards from our family.

“Wonderful apartment, brilliant base for a Puglia holiday!”

We spent 8 nights at Civico40 Suite and could not have wished for a better base to explore Puglia. The apartment is over two floors with high vaulted ceilings, beautifully decorated in a contemporary style that made living there, as guests, so very enjoyable. Two bathrooms, two terraces, two bottles of wine awaiting us :) We where in heaven. Plenty of restaurants and cafes just round the corners, yet the apartment was very quiet! The hosts, Veronica and Donato are wonderful people... and we will be back!
