Overview
The Hotel Rondinella Locarno, a simple, centrally located hotel with a cosy-family atmosphere, has 29 rooms. All rooms have a Wi-Fi connection, private bathroom, a fridge, a safe and cable TV. We are located two minutes from Locarno train station and opposite Locarno harbour. At the same time, you can reach the cable car to the "Madonna del Sasso" on foot, as well as the famous Piazza Grande, the scene of the film festival, with its typical arcades and the Kursaal theatre. We are the ideal starting point for visiting our beautiful valleys. Paid car park is 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, convenient for train station and lake. Balcony with side view to lake busy road below but efficient double glazing to cancel any noise.

“Hotel with the lake view”
It was our first time in Locarno, and it was amazing 👏 Small hotel with nice rooms and lake view balcony! Amazing! Friendly staff, clear instructions for late check-in, very good restaurant in the same building, on the 1st floor! Comfortable beds, fridge in the room. 5 minutes walking from the station

Well priced, with balcony views to the lake, but smokers balcony separated by a short wall. Staff were accomodating and great communicators. Special mention to the restaurant below, Spaghetti store who served awesome food.

“Very nice place!”
Perfect spot right by the lake, with a pier, railway station, bus stop, and the funicular to Cardada all within easy reach. It's a pleasant 10-minute walk to the city center and a 15-minute stroll along the yacht-lined promenade to Lido (and it’s very nice!) The staff is incredibly kind. A particular young lady was fantastically polite and friendly, offering great advice and charming with her smile. The rooms, while a bit dated, but clean and with a very cozy atmosphere. The lake view from my room was great (on the photo). Lovely Breakfast with the view on the lake too.

Good location, amazing lake view. There is an amazing restaurant downstairs which is nice to go. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, definitely recommend!!!
