“Good for a short stay, excellent service.”

I rate this hotel 5 stars, but only for certain circumstances such as short stays eg. you are breaking up a long journey and need somewhere to stopover for a night. The location is great - it is five minutes or less walk from the train station. The service by Giacomo was excellent. Nowadays, unless you ask, you rarely get to experience 'old school' service from hotels where the manager/receptionist bothers to give you a map and point out where you can go. But Giacomo did that for us on his own initiative. He was also exceedingly friendly and polite in all our interactions, and when we were at breakfast he came over to ask if we wanted eggs. I noticed he checked in on all the guests as well.

Beautiful hotel freshly renovated. The room is comfortable, nice spacious shower and bathroom. The hotel is central and right by the station. Cafes and shops close by.

Location was amazing, exactly what it says on the tin. Staff were amazing and highly recommend the breakfast too! The staff couldn’t do enough for you, going above & beyond. When I’m next seeing family in Locarno I will definitely book to stay here again!

Excellent location, Room very comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was sufficient and good quality but could have offered other hot choices rather than just soft or hard boiled eggs, Perhaps add scrambled eggs in future

Although our room was on a busy road and right opposite the main railway station it was exceptionally quiet when the doors were closed.

Excellent location, just next to the train station (but the noise levels are totally fine). The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.
