The Hotel Nessi Locarno located in a quiet area between Locarno and Ascona can be reached from the centre of both cities within 15 to 20 minutes' walk. It offers an outdoor pool open in high season (between April to October), the property also offers free Wi-Fi and rich continental breakfast buffet with local products. The location was good. It was close to the train station, it was not too far nor complicated to find a hotel even though we had to take a bus to get there. The breakfast also good. Everything was filled with the Swiss products and fresh breads. The room and other facilities were clean and neat. Especially, the staffs were super nice and gentle. They directly helped us to get the ticino ticket when we checked in. And everytime we went to the receiption, they greeted us with gentle smile. There was a small mistake where the requested service was not properly completed, although it didn’t cause us any major inconvenience, we appreciated that it was not overlooked and that they responded with an apology and appropriate action. It was something that could have easily been overlooked, but I was impressed by the attentiveness in remembering and taking care of it. If I go to Locarno, I would stay again in this hotel.

“Lovely hotel”
Lovely hotel this was our second time to use it. In a nice quiet area yet only a short bus journey to the centre. Staff very helpful and would recommend for a stay in Locarno.

“Good clean hotel, comfortable quiet night”
Very friendly helpful staff that speak multiple languages. Room didn’t have a kettle but they kindly loaned us one. A bit too cold for a swim in the pool unfortunately. Nice and quiet

“I enjoyed my time at this hotel, with its ideal location and lovely amenities.”
The location is absolutely ideal - just 5 minutes from the nearest bus station, and within a leisurely 20-minute walk to the city center and lake. It's also perfectly situated for exploring the stunning Verzasca attractions or Maggia valley. The hotel itself offers many lovely touches, including a refreshing pool area with comfortable sunbeds where you can unwind. My room was spotless and well-appointed, featuring air conditioning that worked flawlessly. All appliances were in good working order, making my stay enjoyable. The personal at the front office was very kind. I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my visit.
