Hotel Garni in front of the train and bus station of Locarno and Centovallina station, 5 minutes walk from the lake and from the central Locarno Piazza Grande. The southern rooms mostly have a lake view, while the north-west ones face the surrounding mountains.

Located near to main train station, less than 5 min walking distance to downtown and ferry. Breakfast was rich, warm and fresh. Room was clean and bright enough for 3 people. Well isolated for outside's noisy environment. Beautiful view to mountain beyond the lake. Super friendly staff, especially breakfast and cleaning service ladies. There's a storage place for luggage prior to check in in case if earlier arrival. Thanks a lot!

The hotel is in a fantastic and very convenient location. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room had a beautiful lake view. Everything was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

“Adequate.”
This is a very budget hotel. Don’t expect luxury. It is very run down but they have tried to modernise the rooms. Despite this the beds were clean and comfortable. There was a very cute grumpy cat at reception 😊

“Very convinient for one night stay close to the train station”

Great location — right across from the train station. The room was clean and quiet (our windows faced the courtyard, not the road). Parking is nearby, next to the train station, €14 per day. Check-in was fast.

“Pricey, basic and comfortable enough for one night”
It was close to where we needed to be. The info indicates that there are balconies/terraces however our room did not have one. The staff readily supplied kettle when I requested it. Good toiletries and clean towels in room. ACs in the rooms worked well.
