Situated just 100 metres from the waterfront at Lake Maggiore, Hotel Excelsior offers a rich buffet breakfast, a bar with outside terrace overlooking the garden and free Wi-Fi. The staff at breakfast and checkout were really helpful and nice. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. It was quiet. There is parking in the blue zone right outside the hotel. We could see the car from the balcony. If you arrive on Sat. evening it is free parking until Monday morning. Be sure to have the Swiss blue parking shield - get one at a gas station if you don't have one. The hotel is clean. It is older, but has character.
