I spent a month here and would definitely come back again. The owner Mono is an absolute legend and an unreal surfer. He drove me around to all the good spots and gets after it every day there's good swell. Lobitos itself is an amazing spot and you'll be well taken care of at Wayra. Gracias Mono 🤙

“Amazing private rooms”

A very cute little hostel in Lobitos. It has a dorm and several private rooms, all with their own bathrooms. There is hot water. The rooms are very clean and can be cleaned daily upon request. Surfboards are available for rent. There is a refrigerator and a small microwave for guests to use. Ricardo and his wife were very welcoming and fantastic hosts. I felt very comfortable. From the terrace, you can see the sea and watch the surfers. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away, and the town center is about 5 minutes away. Breakfast was a bit basic, but you can buy extra items if you want. There is even a vegan option available for purchase.

Pleasant and helpful hosts. Nice and clean hotel. An easy tomorrow is enabled. A beautiful beach with good waves for surfing, many restaurants nearby with delicious food.

Lovely stay right on the beach with the most amazing hosts! 100% recommend, we arrived and wanted to buy a wetsuit, Ricardo sorted us out with half price wetsuits from his friend in Lima. Service was above and beyond!

Sooo close to an amazing surf break! Very nicely maintained and layed out, staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the area, whether it be about the waves, food, sightseeing or anything, really. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.

We absolutely loved our time here! We originally planned to stay for just three nights but ended up extending our visit to over two weeks. Mono (Ricardo) and Silvana were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The atmosphere is peaceful and laid-back, perfect for unwinding. Each room has a hammock where you can relax while enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean—just 20 meters from the front gate. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll adore their four friendly and lovable dogs who are always happy to keep you company. There’s also a small gym on-site, equipped with weights and other gear for a quick workout.🏋️‍♂️

Location is right beside one of the surf breaks. You can see it from the property . Great communal space and private space too Owners are super nice and friendly . Also close to some lovely restaurants.

Wayra is located in the perfect location over looking Punta Lobitos, with several other surf breaks within walking distance. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Ricardo the host will make sure you have everything you need and is happy to provide any advice needed on the town of Lobitos and it surrounds. we stayed at wayra for 1 month and it truly felt like home for us. it has an amazing view of the surf, spacious and clean rooms, a big communal room with a ping pong table, hammocks outside every room for relaxing, super friendly owners and really cute dogs!!

Loved everything, the location is perfect - 2 minutes away from the beach (we could see it from our room) and for surfing - board hire very close by. Mono and his girlfriend were the friendliest and most welcoming and the room was clean and comfy - shower was good too. Can't fault it, thank you!!

Laid back couple, gave us many recommendations and always texted back quickly. We had the room with seaview and it was definitely worth it. The room was not directly at the beach (on the other side of the street), but there‘s a great view down to the beach and the surfers. Breakfast was nice too.
