Our small break from the city life was incredibly special because of our stay at Casa de Eira. To start, our host José welcomed us right at the door to let us in the charming cottage. We fell in love immediately. It felt like home. Clean and tidy, nice and neat; with some of the essentials that a guest would want on a mini vacation. Some coffees, teas, cookies, juice, bread, etc. The rooms were perfect in size with comfortable beds and a beautiful view to the gardens with the calming sounds of the river. The cottage is just a short distance from the town centre with cafés, restaurants and grocery shopping. To say that our stay was perfect is an understatement. We would definitely stay again and recommend anyone who wants to get away from it all, to stay at Casa de Eira.

“A gem of a house, a refreshing surprise. Couldn't be better.”
The hosts supplied all that one needs for a perfect breakfast - too much, in fact! Moreover, the house was extremely well equipped for both coffee and tea lovers (of all kinds), as well as a fresh juice squeezer, plenty of fruit, and all basic needs for basic cooking. Truly unusual!
