Good location and friendly staff

“We felt really spoilt having the whole place to ourselves.”

We were the only people staying at the hotel on the night we arrived. Despite this we were still able to have an evening meal and arrived in the dining room to find our table by the window all laid ready. The meal was a set meal but beautifully cooked and presented with a starter, main course and desert. We also had drinks and coffee. Breakfast was the same with a lovely wide variety of food for us to choose from. The staff looked after us very well.

Good stop at this nice hotel. Friendly staff who were most helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and covered the basic needs for a stop. We had a very good meal in the evening in the restaurant near by, that was freshly prepared with local produce. Breakfast was also first rate with plenty of choice. A good hotel which we would use again.

Both breakfast and our evening meal were very good. The hotel was very nice with plenty of parking. Would happily stop here again.

Great location for the start of our groups travels to towards Switzerland. An evening meal for us all was organised and very tasty local dishes were offered.

This is a lovely hotel set in pretty grounds. We enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was very good. We also had dinner which proved to be excellent. They were very attentive and accommodating to dietary needs :) There was good bike storage.

Friendly, helpful staff and we were warmly welcomed. Lots of free parking. Excellent breakfast and a very good dinner, both cooked to order. Good choice of reasonably priced bottles of wine . Public areas were nice and warm . Lovely bathroom with great shower and toiletries provided. Comfortable, large bed. A utilitarian room which was fine for one night. The grounds were really lovely and in the summer it must be a fantastic location.

It’s located in a quiet and attractive location. The staff were very friendly and the Friday night we stayed the food we ordered from the al la carte menu was excellent.

The staff. All were very friendly. The night we stayed the retaurant was offering an al a carte menu. The food we choose was excellent and the highlight of our stay.
