We visited from Europe. The cabin is fully furnished in cozy texan decoration. Views from the porch are awesome. There's a lot of privacy to enjoy.

“Great cabin in a quiet part of the Hill Country.”
A lot of thought has been put into the cabin and facilities. It had all we wanted and more. Full cooking equipment (microwave and electric range/oven) in kitchen area along with a refrigerator/freezer means you can eat what you want when you want. A barbecue is provided - you will need to bring charcoal, or buy in town (5 minute drive), if you want to make use of it. There is plenty of hot water and the shower is good. The bed is comfortable and there are additional blankets should the (very efficient) AC make the room cooler than you may be used to. The view from the cabin deck is magnificent; the humming birds fascinating; and the presence of deer after dark is also lovely. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed. Rick is a true Texan and a great host. Llano may not be one of the tourist hotspots in the Texas Hill Country but its a charming town, only 1.5 hrs drive from Austin, with all the facilities you might need for a vacation.

It was so peaceful and the views sitting out on the porch were wonderful. loved watching all the birds and the very shy deer.
