Another wonderful hotel that left us with lovely memories. We'd especially like to mention the caring staff: we arrived after reception had already closed, yet they waited for us and welcomed us like valued guests — that meant a lot. The restaurant is excellent and everything was delicious, true local-produce gastronomy. The estate itself, with its views over the surrounding hills and countryside, is a perfect place to relax and recharge. Thank you so much — we loved every moment and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Beautiful location and superb staff. Very clean and certainly a hotel to escape in a romantic and natural setting. Stunning restaurant and the service and food were to a very high standard. Our Argentinian server, was excellent.

The hotel is situated in a very tranquil spot with lovely views and is in a beautifully renovated old building. The restaurant is exceptional and the rooms (we stayed in two separate rooms during our stay) are very well equipped. Breakfast in the garden beside the pool was exceptional.

Such a beautiful and unique hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The decor is amazing, the service is incredible, the breakfast was superb quality, and the room is super comfortable. We loved the forest and mountain views from the room, the heated floor in the bathroom and the amazing bath tub. The spa experience in the nearby rural house was incredible as we had the whole place to ourselves and they were very flexible when we had to change the time of our spa reservation. Thank you for making it a birthday to remember!

“What a pleasant surprise in the middle of no-where that will stick to your memories forever!”

What a blast! The Vella Farga was such a pleasant surprise to us, that we enjoyed every moment here. But let me give you some details: Getting to the Vella Farga is an interesting experience: You drive quite a while getting there, riding through endless landscape of hills and very small villages. Your navigation will tell you to take smaller and smaller roads until you reach the Vella Farga. From this point on, an amazing property in the middle of nowhere surprises you in every aspect: The historic properly has been renovated to perfection with 100% attention to detail, still preserving the history of the place. Decorations all over the place make your eyes look around, and whatever you see makes you pull your phone out of the pocket to take yet another photo of that lovely place. The personell is very friendly and welcoming, trying to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The food (breakfast and dinner) is simply amazing and one of the highest standards I ever experienced. Creativity and tastiness of all the dishes is outstanding and all fresh. The infinity pool gives you a floating feeling while at the same time having an uninterrupted view across the landscape. The bed in your hotel room is so cosy that you will not get out of it once you lay down. And yes: The chandeliers are literally everywhere and make you feel special just looking at that while relaxing in your cozy bed. I would certainly recommend this place to everyone who wants to travel in that area and wants to collect some memories that stick in your head forever.

“A little bit of heaven”

Wow. County location, pool with stunning views, incredible service, immaculately presented property, we loved a soak in the roll top bath. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The Michelin star restaurant was brilliant, had the beef with blue cheese and figs and apple tart and both superb. Really relaxing stay, super comfortable bed, sorry to leave.

Everything was fabulous! Starting from the reception…We were so warmly welcomed. Service, atmosphere, every detail was filled with love. The owners are so passionate about antique decorations and the hotel is decorated with enormous taste! Food in the restaurant exceeded expectations! We celebrated my mom’s birthday and it was the best birthday for her! Thank you la Vella Farga team!
