Overview
Located next to a quiet forest, this hostel offers accommodation in the small town of Ljungsbro, 100 metres from Göta Canal. It offers cooking facilities and a TV lounge. Guests enjoy free access to the sauna, fitness centre and swimming pool at Ljungsbro Leisure Centre, which is found next door. There is also an indoor ice-skating rink. The simply furnished rooms of Ljungbro Hostel have shared shower facilities. Breakfast is served from May through August. Attractions in and around Ljungsbro include the Cloetta Chocolate Factory and the 12th-century Vreta Abbey. Free public parking spaces are found next to Ljungsbro Vandrarhem.

Wonderful place, nice stuff, surroundings are great, with a lot of options for walking around and enjoying Swedish nature, pool and gym is a cherry on the cake! ✌️ If I'll pass by again one day, I'll definitely stay there again! 10/10! 🌞

It's a very nice place with a lot of open space and several facilities that the guest can make use of. There are many beautiful places at walking distance also. The vandrarhem is sorrounded by nature and the possibility to use the pools is a very good thing to have! The fact that the rooms have access to a kitchenette and dining area are also a very good plus.

“Good accomodation with friendly staff in nice location”
Good stop for one night, especially because my dog was allowed to stay, too. Location was nice, near Göta canal. And great that one could use the swimming hall and gym. Room was spacy enough with own toilet, common shower and kitchen outside. Staff was very friendly - tack!

Good place for a night or two close to Göta Kanal. There was a pentry and table and shower that was shared between 4 rooms. Peaceful area. In the rooms we had a room with an own toilet.

Well organised. The fee included the use of swimming pool and gym (though I didn’t take the opportunity). Good areas for walking the dogs I travelled with.

“Valueable but noisy beds”
A lot of value for the money you pay. Toilet and bathroom are in the apartment. Kitchen is equiped with everything you need for cooking and eating. Refrigerator and micro. I believe if theychange the beeds to wooden and more stable beds would become a nice apartment.

“Very good for budget travelling”
Very friendly customer service, everything worked really smoothly! Nice area and very easy to go for a walk with a dog. One of the cleanest hostel type of places I’ve been. Shop very near by to get basic food stuff.

The Vandrarhem is in a very quiet location, on the grounds of a leisure centre. A few minutes walk away you can walk right along the Göta Canal and through the beautiful town of Ljungsbro. The room was very clean and it is good that you have a small bathroom with your own toilet and sink. It is also very good that as a guest you can also use the swimming pool and the fitness room. The value for money is great.

I have been at the place 27 years ago. Not a single thing has chance at the vandrehem. Only the beds.

The reception was closed at my arrived, but they fixed anyway the key in a box to let me get to the room. Parking place close to the facility.
