Bart, the host and the rest of staff in the villa are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Easy communication. A lot of outdoor activities in the area. Sauna right next to the terrace, spacious and cozy chalet with all the needed facilities. Perfect place for friends/family stay. There's a Fullufjell alpin ski resort 20 minutes drive from villa. It's enough for a family with small kids. If you need more attractions and a bigger range of slopes, Trysil ski resort is 55 minutes drive from villa. We will definitely come back in summer season to test the mtb tracks.

We had an exceptional time at Villa Fregn. From the moment we made the booking to the very last minute, Bart was nothing but wonderful to us. We stayed with our lovely cat in a cabin with our own jacuzzi and the perfect view to a lake. Breakfast and dinner were beyond delicious (you’re even welcomed with a delicious Norwegian waffle). We liked being here so much that we had to extend our stay for one more night. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality, you made our stay remarkable and one to never forget. Great place if you like to be close to nature and only few people around. We enjoyed a lot been in house inside forest with a lake close to the house. Bart, thank you so much for your warm hospitality, recommendation of the hiking trail, all presents we got and amazing dinner (thank for everyone who was preparing it)!

Bart and Ellen were exceptionally hospitable and accommodating to our every need. It was a personal experience here - you could really feel their passion for what they are creating at this very special place. We really enjoyed getting to know Bart and Ellen a little bit - we were inspired by Bart’s travel adventures in particular. We travelled with 3 kids, who had an equally grand time. We did an ATV tour with Bart, which was a highlight. The food was lovely, and our cabin was clean, welcoming and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Villa Fregn again.

Our welcoming was very warm! We were served with coffee and pancakes on the house. Our room was very nice. By reserving the accommodation we thought we should have our own bed linen but that wasn´t the case - everything was ready for our stay. In addition we were offered sauna and hot tub, good relaxation after ten hours travelling and good preparation for skiing in Vasaloppet. We also got very early and hefty breakfast. Despite quite remote location, it was easy to get to the starting point of Vasaloppet because of less traffic from this direction. Atmosphere in Villa Fregn was very cozy and host is really friendly. This place is "pearl in wilderness"!

Villa Fregn really is a hidden gem in the wilderness of Norway. The room inside the guesthouse was very comfortable, clean and with nice furniture. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and they don’t mind to friendly take every dietary restrictions to prepare you a meal you feel good with. The woodstove sauna and hottub in the backyard were amazing with the snowy landscape and cold temperatures in winter so we used it almost every day to heat up again after snowboarding in Trysil. Besides alpine skiing and snowboarding the winter activities from the Hotel were really stunning! We did a mushing tour with a dogsled and a snowmobile tour and both were absolutely adventurous. Bart and Ellen are the best people they really help you with everything you come up with and make every adventure possible.
