Overview
Offering sea views, this Port Elgin inn set in a historic 1859 farmhouse features an on-site gourmet restaurant. Moncton is 45 minutes’ drive away. A satellite TV is offered in each guest room at Little Shemogue Inn. Suites include fireplaces and spa baths. The dining room serves an extensive hot breakfast daily and a 3 or 4-course gourmet dinner by reservation. The menu may include fresh seafood, escargot soup or the innkeeper’s special chicken breast recipe. Free canoe and bicycle rentals are available on site. A salt water hot tub is provided for guest relaxation. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island is 30 minutes’ drive away. If you are looking for solitude, peace and quiet in the area, then look no further. This inn is perfect for getting away from the hum drum of every day life. It is about a 30 minute drive to the town of Shediac which has everything you might have forgotten to get before you started your holiday. The inn is staffed and administered by a brilliant host by the name of Karen. Karen produced a 4 course dinner for us on the first night of our stay and everything about it was spot on.

“Great stay”
We stayed in the second building. Clean, cozy room. Access to a fridge. Great common areas with beautiful views. Nice outdoor areas to spend time. Thoughtful staff (manager and owner and kind and make you feel welcome). Accommodating to our baby. Overall, great stay.

The inn is situated by a swamp, therefor there are so many mosquitoes that caused our bodies to swell from the few minutes we were outside just to get out luggage. There is wifi but no internet at all! There was no pressure in the shower.
