We came here for a night as part of our honeymoon. There are beautifully surroundings - we enjoyed a cycle around the lake and watching the olympic rowers training. The building is very unique and grand. There was an incredible view of the lake from the garden. The room was tastefully appointed with all modern conveniences whilst maintaining the grandeur of the building. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety. The host was very friendly and introduced us to the building with some of his small children in tow which was charming. The host also gave us some good tips of local sights to see, including Turenne. We would definitely come back.

Magnificent chateau in a great location overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Great breakfast in the kitchen of the chateau, which is unique, and super friendly staff.

we felt privileged to stay in this magnificent old chateau. it feels like a step back in time but the facilities have all been modernised and the decor done beautifully. the staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. just a wonderful experience all round.

“Lovely stay, I think people should be warned about the stairs, some elderly would not be able to.man”
Loved the location - the coffee was a little stewed (been sitting o the hot plate on machine too long).
