“Nothing provided. No bedding. No towels. No soap. Very basic.”
No respect for the people booking. Beds not made and initially looked like no bed linen provided. Upon enquiry and after a couple of hours was told there was some bedding in a bag on top of the cupboard - this turned out to be a mishmash of rags masquerading as sheets. No towels. No soap. Chalet not cleaned and was dirty and unloved. Could be lovely given the right treatment - all it takes is for the owner to get 2 nice new matching sets of bed linen and duvets for each bed, plus 2 sets of towels. The beds to be made up for new guests and the chalet given a proper clean each time. A good set of crockery wouldn't go amiss. Hey - what about some complementary tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits thrown in. Nothing major, just enough for a couple of drinks. That would elevate the place from a ropy wooden shack to somewhere people would be able to relax and enjoy. Come on, this is 2023 and if you want to attract customers you need to offer something in return for the good money they are paying you.
