“Great resort with even more ponetntial”

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5 Lipa Bay Resort has so much potential and, in many ways, delivers a wonderful Koh Samui experience. What I Loved The location is absolutely fantastic. Situated directly on the beachfront in peaceful Lipa Noi, the resort offers stunning ocean views and some truly spectacular sunsets. The infinity pool overlooking the sea is a highlight and creates a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. My room on the second floor was spacious, comfortable, and came with beautiful views of the ocean. Waking up to that scenery every morning was a real treat. The restaurant was another pleasant surprise. The food was consistently good, reasonably priced, and I enjoyed several excellent meals during my stay. The entire property has a laid-back, tropical charm that makes it easy to unwind. While some areas are a little dated, the overall vibe is very relaxing and fits the location perfectly. Final Thoughts Lipa Bay Resort is a beautiful beachfront property with an excellent location, lovely views, a great pool, and good food. With more attentive service and more comfortable mattresses, it could easily be an outstanding resort. Despite its shortcomings, I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing part of Koh Samui.

It’s a very old property. The hotel AC doesn’t work and the breakfast options are very limited.

Loved the cabins right by the beach. Seemed to be one of the prettiest beaches on this side of the island also. Very serene around but also many things to do and easy to get around with a scooter.

Sea view from the room was amazing! We got a fruit basket waiting for us in the room, full of mango, grapes and dragon fruit, and several buckets of flowers...

Comfortable hotel, the bathroom has shower accessories and towels. Room cleaning is available upon request. The apartments are located near the market.

“A hidden gem”

I only stayed for one night but it was just what I was looking for from Koh Samui. There was a small restaurant with helpful staff, a pool and some sun loungers. There was also a little beach at the bottom which meant you could access the main beach. My room was spacious, the aircon worked well and it was very quiet. A great place for a last-minute deal!

The room was spacious and comfy, we even had a balcony with a sea view. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels for the pool/beach & extra towels for the room were replaced with clean ones everyday. The pool area is beautiful, you are able to walk straight out onto the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and were helpful, we would love to come back.
