“A lovely stay in a well-located apartment with a pretty little balcony.”
The location was very good, tucked away from the main, busy streets and also close to the station and harbour. Hermann was very helpful, indicating good restaurants and cafes. The apartment was very well equipped.

“Wonderful, spacious apartment in great location with kind host”
Large newly renovated apartment in a good location close to supermarket, bakery, bank, waterfront and old town (Lindau -insel is a small island and town). Comfortable bed, good rain shower. Well equipped (but could do with shampoo and air conditioner and some tea bags-they provided coffee which was great). It has a small patio overlooking a small courtyard The Bodensee card helped offset local German public transport costs (note that it doesn't work for nearby Austrian town of bregenz-buy a ticket from the obb ticket machine as it's half the cost of the db machine). Hermann was very kind and met us at the train station and helped us with luggage and information. He also dropped us off at the station and researched alternative transportation when the train system had a meltdown.

“A modern holiday apartment in the heart of Lindau Island”
Great location 5minutes walk to the harbour and rail / bus, modern minimalist flat, spotlessly clean. Washing machine in the flat. Comfortable beds, great shower. Claudia and Hermann waited for us on the main street to take us to their flat. They had our tourist cards ready for us so that we could use the local transport for free straight away, which was very handy coming back from the car park outside the island. Hermann also replaced the coffee machine straight away when the old one went kaput.
