“Lovely place to stay and explore Lindau island”

The lady at check-in was really helpful and showed us to the bike room and allowed us to store our bags in the room before check-in opened. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was great on the Lindau island and a short walk from everything.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was great and the breakfast was fantastic.

Beware: the photos are totally misleading! They show big, comfortable rooms with carpet or laminate flooring. In reality, those rooms are in the newer building of the hotel. We were given a room in the old building, which was very small, dated and had a tiled floor. So not only are the photos misleading, but the room description is also false. The room was supposed to be "22 m²" and "carpeted", but it was not. We raised the issue with the receptionist, and she was not helpful. She explained that the pictures are only illustrative. When I pointed out that the description was wrong as well, she said that her boss would be coming the next morning during breakfast. I expected that she would at least speak with her boss about the issue, but instead she expected us to do it ourselves. This is ridiculous. What are you even doing at your job? With the rating of the hotel and the price we expected more and I am totally dissapointed.

Everything! Family run small hotel. Friendly, welcoming. Great breakfast...continental style but also scrambled eggs. with crispy bacon!! Rooms smallish but compact. We overlooked the courtyard so it was very quiet. NO AC but a good little fan and we love sleeping with an open window anyway.

Lindau is a wonderful place and there are plenty of shops and cafes. There are also a number of places where you can take boat trips to on the Bodensee.

The welcome on arrival was 5* and we were given so much helpful information with charm and humour. Also excellent English. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, our room was enormous and we would highly recommend the hotel.

A perfect place to stay to explore Lindau. Extremely welcoming staff and service overall. The window view was amazing although it was a bit too loud in the mornings. Here's the tip for the travellers: rent bikes and have a ride to Therme Lindao. They have free access to pool and warefront after 6pm.

“Overall nice, friendly place to stay on the island of Lindau.”

The hotel is nicely located at the (car) entrance to the island of Lindau, a large public parking garage is nearby, where I could recharge my electric car. The room was tidy and clean, though not very cosy, but I guess that's a matter of taste, and there was too much to do about the island to spend much time inside anyway. We had a room on the third floor in the part of the building with no elevator. When travelling with folks who don't climb stairs so well anymore, make sure to check with the staff when booking the room. I found the beds were above-average comfortable. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and fresh food, the staff very comforting and hospitable. All in all, the stay was a nice experience, I would not doubt recommending the place to family and friends.
