Nicely furnished apartment at very convenient location!

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was a wire sprung mattress with very little padding. We only stayed one of the two nights of the reservation. After the first night of the stay I reported to the host that the bed was uncomfortable. The host told me that the mattress had been changed recently and that they would check it again on Monday. Monday was after my stay. When I responded to that, saying I was leaving and I wanted a refund for the second night, the host responded within half an hour saying that she found a bed shop that could deliver a mattress today. Unfortunately it was too late, as I had booked another room within that half an hour. I acted quickly upon the host's first response and made a booking at another place. Since she responded with a more favourable solution to the problem, in her second message, she would not honour a refund because I acted too quickly and didn't give her a change to fix the solution. Had the first message been "please let me see if I can get another mattress delivered today", I would have given the situation more time and not booked another place so quickly. In addition to this, there is a bar called Chaplins, across the street from the apartment and there is music and people coming and going well past midnight which makes it hard to sleep. And would you believe it, the church which is just around the corner, rings its bells at 06:30. None of these two issues can be controlled by the host but at weekends, this apartment is in a location which is not conducive to sleep. The mattress issue had been brought up by two other reviewers, Roxanne from just a few weeks ago and Manos in February, so it should have been addressed before the problem arose for me.

Good facilities great location

Really easy to check in and the apartment had everything needed. It's close to town, local bars and the sea front too. The balcony has a clothes hanger for laundry which was really convenient too. Extra blankets and an ironing board were in the wardrobe. Parking outside
