This is an amazing , beautiful gite, with the kindest , loveliest hosts. All the facilities you see in the photos are yours for your stay. You'll feel like a five star guest and part of the family at the same time. If you can stay here please do ! It's rural and beautiful but with great road access to wherever you want to go. Unmissable!

“A little piece of heaven - Charente style”
Perfectly located in the heart of peaceful Charente, from the moment that we arrived at La Maison Verger, we felt at home and part of the family. We were met by Peter and Laura who proudly showed us around the fantastic property that they've lovingly restored themselves, then shared a chilled bottle of Cremant by the pool with Max and Ruby for company to welcome us. P&L have literally thought of everything you could possibly want or need during your stay, creating a property that's comfortable, inviting and fully equipped to ensure your stay is perfect. Guests can enjoy wandering the spacious gardens, the adjoining woods and meadow, as well as having sole use of the heated pool with it's comfy outdoor terrace and a choice of shaded seating areas. Easy access from the main roads and within a few minutes drive from supermarkets and boulangerie, mean that La Maison is quiet yet very accessible and with so much to see and do locally. We only wish that we'd stayed for longer and we'll definitely be back. We would highly recommend La Maison - but quietly - so that it doesn't become too popular that we can't get booked in again!
