Featuring a fantastic location a 5-minute walk from Larcomar Shopping Centre, Waikiki Hostel offers accommodations in the district of Miraflores. Free WiFi access is available and some rates offer a complimentary breakfast Rooms here are either private or shared dormitories. They are fitted with shared bathroom facilities. At Waikiki Hostel guests will find a sun terrace, an on-site bar and a 24-hour front desk. In addition, laundry facilities are available for a fee and there is bike rental available. The district of Miraflores offers an array of shops, restaurants and parks. The Museum of the Nation is 6 km away whereas the city centre is a 20-minute drive away. This review is for the Alpes Lima Hostel as we were redirected there by the staff (Waikiki Hostel is shut down). In the Alpes Lima the vibe was great. The hostel has a rooftop with a bar, hot tub and games; It was fun hanging around there. Nice kitchen area. Great staff members paying attention to safety.

“It’s worth it”
Very good location, good wifi and very nice and clean hostel. At the reception Jerica and Diana were very helpful to provide me for all the information that I needed for visiting the city. Super recommend!

I've tried almost every hostel in Lima, and Waikiki is the best. You can party every night if you want, but it super well isolated so you won't hear the party going in your dorm the staff is super nice and always willing to help. Fiorella (the bar girl) and Miguel (the manager) are the best!

Location is really nice, plus if you surfing is really close to the beach, Fiorela is absolutely legend up at the rooftop beating you in Jenga and mixing best pisco 👌👌

We stayed in the private rooms and this was fantastic. Brilliant breakfast, amazing ambiance, very clean, everyone was very friendly. Oscar at the door with his dog was so wonderful, lively and kind. And Daniel was so charming, helpful and so amazing! Our stay was incredible and these 2 individuals made it really special for us. Alsp walking distance from everything! Perfect! “excellent hostel”
- customer service. We had an issue with 2 members of staff on reception (the others were all fantastic), after that management proactively contacted us and rectified the issue professionally. This showed how seriously they take customer service here and ultimately I felt impressed - shower was amazing. Hot and powerful - great location - terrace and communal area were excellent - lovely breakfast. One of the best hostel breakfasts we’ve had

Safe neighborhood. Easy to find. Showers hot and good pressure. Beds and rooms were reasonable with good linen. Nice sized rooms. Staff with good English generally and quite helpful.

“our first time in lima”
staff were helpful, friendly, there was even a security guard on the door 24/7 which made us feel safe. we chose to stay in a private bedroom with private bathroom which is what we as a couple enjoy. we also like the rooftop bar and hot tub!

“Pretty decent budget option”
Although I booked Waikiki, their private rooms are located at another hostel (Alpes Lima Kennedy Hostel) so my review is based on the latter. I wish I knew prior that I’d be accommodated there instead of at Waikiki, however, they are pretty close to one another, so I wasn’t greatly inconvenienced. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The bed is very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the security guard on the first floor. Edwin was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast is also great! They really surpassed my expectations. Great amenities for the price.. Overall a pretty decent budget accommodation.
