“Pleasant and lovely gardens, friendly and efficient staff ( but very paper based admin) - yet lacked ambience”
Great position. Very extensive gardens… this is a conference hotel primarily, it seems, with many venues spread through the grounds, which are full of “Pontins” style chalets where you sat. The chalets are very roomy and comfortable Friendly staff and well organised transfers Gardens neatly manicured

this place quoted a rate of $76 special online, and the booking showed a conversion rate of K132000 in local currency, but when i arrived they only allowed payment in US dollars otherwise if you wanted to pay in local currency, as is the law! they were charging 50% more ie k200000 Malawi kwacha. it is illegal to force people to pay in USD and the booking confirmation showed the rate in Malawi kwacha which was according to the bank rate, but did not allow me to pay this at the hotel. Illegal, and misleading.

The hotel its self is comfortable. Rooms are very clean and beds are fine. Breakfast and dinner are both acceptable but not remarkable.

“Really great and comfortable stay but be prepared to eat out for better food options and service”
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Big rooms with sufficient space for working. Sports room is great and well equipped. Love the gardens which are really cared for. A nice oasis after work.
