Overview
Centrally located in the heart of the business district in Lilongwe, President Hotel at Umodzi Park is the first 5-star hotel in Malawi. Umodzi Park also encompasses the Bingu Wa Mutharika International Convention Centre. Each room at President Walmont Hotel is air-conditioned and features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a writing desk and a telephone. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and a shower, and guest toiletries, slippers and bathrobes are provided for guests’ convenience. The minibar can be stocked upon request. Guests at President Walmont can enjoy local or international cuisine at the elegant Wild Orchid Restaurant or relax with a drink at the Afroma Terrace Bar, overlooking the Umodzi Park precinct. Best place to stay in Lilongwe! The hotel offers 100% comfort and is located in a very safe area, making it ideal for a worry-free stay. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food options to suit all tastes. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lilongwe

“My stay was great, their food was delicious, the staff polite and helpful and the room comfortable”
I like the convenience of the location, wifi was working great at all times. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. The food is fantastic, all the dishes I tried were absolutely delicious and the breakfast was always perfect with lots of varieties to choose from.
