“Great place to stay in Lillehammer”
I really liked this place. Especially the fact that they offer Breakfast and Dinner and cakes in the afternoon. Really great for Cross country skiers, like me, who need some more energy. I really liked the gym as well. Also, the proximity to the bus station going to Nordseter. Very clean place.

“Simply amazing place where to stay”
This was my first stay in Lillehammer, and I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the city is. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the city center, as well as the nearest shops and the bus and train station. We were truly impressed by the hotel’s hospitality. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the hotel really lives up to its name—I felt like I was in a second home. Although the hotel is quite large, it still offers a sense of privacy, and the overall atmosphere is calm, easygoing, and relaxing. There are many cozy corners where you can sit, chat with friends, enjoy a drink or coffee, or simply relax on your own with a book. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of breads, salads, spreads, and local salmon. For Birken runners, it was even available before 5 a.m. Lunch was just as good, with plenty of options and tasty local treats. After a long time, I was genuinely impressed, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Friendly housekeeping staff and reception staff gave excellent service and welcome. The included dinner was very good and added considerably to the value of this stay. The superior size double bedroom was very clean and comfortable. All the facilities worked. We liked the spacious corridors and convenient location. Breakfast was a bit crowded and busy, but the food was high quality and the service friendly. Convenient car parking in the hotel garage.

“Perfect overnight stay in Home Hotel Lillehammer”
A very brief say in Lillehammer after a few days in Norway. We arrived early evening and check-in was very easy. The reception staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, everything seemed new and clean. Really enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast the next morning (all included in the price which represented incredibly value). Not sure when we will next visit the town, but if we do this would be the only place to stay!

“A wonderful stay at this amazing hotel.”
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The afternoon cakes and coffee/ hot chocolate was such a blessing for hungry children! The food in general was delicious. And the rooms were lovely and comfortable. I don’t often go back to the same place, but here I would. Highly recommend.
