“Amazing!”

First things first, the host is simply awesome! Flora helped us through every step of our organising the Tiger Leaping Gorge trip (and our Lijiang stay as well). The room is eccentric, but also comfortable and clean. It's a few minutes from the Ancient Town. Overall, absolutely recommended!

Cheap private rooms

“Cozy, welcoming - 10/10 stay.”

I couldn’t recommend October Inn more. The host, flora, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She has created such a lovely homely environment there! The comfy bed with electric blankets was an added bonus.

A great place to stay, location just a 10 minute walk to Old Town. Super helpful hosts that walked me down to the bus station at 7:30am to make sure I got on the right bus to Tiger Leaping Gorge. I'd super recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you need a bit of help sorting out the next stage of your journey. The hosts gave me advice on local walks, sorted bus tickets for me and spoke great English.

“Value stay in cozy Lijiang”

The location is an affordable base point for visiting downtown Lijiang as well as surrounding areas (getting around is easy with a rented scooter). The room is quite clean and comfortable, and the two hosts are friendly and available to help. For 30¥, you can enjoy a yummy home-cooked breakfast! For 10¥, you can also do laundry on-site which is very useful for long trips.

We stayed in a private room. The bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was big with hot water. The lady was very attentive and we could do laundry.

The common area

We had an awesome stay in Lijiang ! The owner gave us great advice on things to do around, Tiger Leaping Gorge hike, and also cooked us delicious breakfasts and dinners. Our room for two was also clean and well furnished.

Cute dog Somewhat close to old town but requires walking up a large hill and all restaurants/shops nearby are very expensive

The hostel is very well located just above the old city, it's a 10 minute walk The vibe is really great, there are a lot of chill areas and even a rooftop to watch the sunset from The beds are spacious and conformable, there is hot shower And the best for last, the hosts ! Ashleigh and her brother are so wonderful, cook delicious food, and are so helpful and overall so pleasant to be around ! I highly recommend this place if you come to Lijang :)

Hostel is super nice and the family who runs it just wonderful and very helpful in planning tours and they create a good atmosphere. I like this place a lot and will stay there again :)

“Perfect location, perfect hospitality”

Amazing friendly people. They’re eager to learn English. The room was clean and comfortable. They helped us a lot with the bus to the Tiger Gorge and the transport of our bags to the final destination. We forgot some stuff and we really appreciate the effort the did to bringing the stuff back ❤️

The owner of the hostel and Ashley were excellent; extremely helpful and generous. The 4 bed dorm was comfortable and clean. The hostel has a really cool vibe and was social. You should stay here!

The owners were super helpful and the accommodation was wonderful. Would highly recommend to firnds and family.There are plenty of places to sit outside the room, including a roof top space. Just 15 mins walk to the ancient town. However, if you turn right and walk up the hill, you will come to an amazing view after 10 mins (max) inc sun set. Then if you carry on along the well maintained.stone path you will find yourself on the elephant mountain ridge. Maps don't show it but follow path and you will come to a cross road. On your.left you.will see steps. Go all the way to the top turn right and the path will take you to more amazing views. You can go to.the park from.here and if a clear morning (suggest before 8am) the snowy mountain can be seen in all it's glory. After 8 the clouds gather round the top. Bare in mind park may charge 75Y When you enter

“Relaxing atmosphere, great location, friendly and helpful owners”

I enjoyed my stay at the October Inn. Following the instructions I received by mail, the hostel was easy to find. It‘s location is a bit up the hill and in short walking distance to the old town (it’s a quiet neighbourhood). The owners are very helpful and kind, owning a little happy dog that likes to be petted. They even shared some delicious peaches with us! The beds are comfortable and I loved their little yard to hang out. When I return to Lijiang, I certainly will stay at the October Inn again!
