The host was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. She is also an amazing cook. We loved our stay there and can only recommend joining the family-Style dinner as well.

10 minutes walking to the ancient town. Lovely staff which were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was available at the property for a small fee, this was definitely worth it - everything was very yummy. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice quiet street which was peaceful. A lot of common areas in the guesthouse to chill and relax.

The place is really good, clean rooms and really close to the old city. The owner of the place helped me a lot, answered every question I had, helped me organize a bus for the Leaping Tiger trek, and explained to me how to easily get to the Blue Moon Valley. I had a pleasant and good stay. Thank you very much

Staff - young man (son of Mama Naxi) was very polite and helpful. I had a bad fall and he went to get me some medicine. He also gave me detailed instructions on how to get back to hotel when I faced difficulty with navigation, Mama Naxi was also very helpful.

Super helpful and friendly host, Mama Naxi speaks excellent English and is always available to help. Big room, comfortable bed. Water refill available in reception. Reasonably close to the old town (10 minute walk).

Great communal spaces and super friendly staff! The room I got was also really cute and spacious, great value for money! Also the bus to the Tiger Leaping Gorge picks you up from right outside the guesthouse which was very convenient!

“Must be the best value hotel in this charming town”

Area was great, not far from old town and lots of eateries on same street. The house is a lovely old style building with plenty of space and areas to eat or chill out, like the sunny conservatory upstairs. You can use the fridge downstairs and there's a kettle in the room. Mama Naxi was really helpful and sweet. She spoke very good English, gave me a cup of black tea when I bought the wrong one, booked a didi taxi for me, wrote down the name of my next hotel in Chinese and best of all - pointed me towards a vegetarian restaurant not too far away. If you are vegetarian I strongly urge you to visit the Lucky restaurant. The first really enjoyable food I'd had in my daily culinary challenge across China and great value!

Basically mam naxi meets all the travelers requirements..Clean beds,toilets location in city itself.. the owner really generous explain all the activities to do at Lijiang which really helpful for me... 8 min walk to ancient city n night Market.

The owner was not very interested in providing information and wouldn’t even recommend a place to eat. As there were many on the nearby Main Street a recommendation would have been helpful. If you are travelling on by bus buy your ticket at the station which will be cheaper than through accommodations
