We had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation. The property was cozy and comfortable, and everything was well organized. The hosts were consistently friendly and helpful. They assisted us with practical things such as hanging up our laundry, helping with our luggage on the last day, and providing useful tips for our hikes in the area. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and appreciated the support and hospitality. Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend this place to others.

The host (husband & wife) was very helpful. They helped us to carry our luggage outside the Lijiang Oldtown during our check in/out since any taxi are not allowed to go inside. They also provide us map & give so many information. Thank you too for letting us lend your iron within our stay.

“The hotel room and staff is nice, but we have unpleasant experience due to the double booking.”

We arrived in the evening after an 11-hour journey from Guilin by train to Guilin-Lijiang. We have a nice room but we have to go to this second-floor room by the old traditional wooden stairs which I was worried my husband couldn't manage it since he is old. To my surprise the room was comfortable, clean and maintained very well, The decoration is an Ancient Chinese room with beams etc. The warm water in the bathroom and wash basin run excellent. It was winter and this is very nice with a modern shower inside this Ancient look. The location inside Goucheng Ancient town but rather far to reach the main road, about 10 minutes walk to this Ancient town since there is the car cannot come to this Ancient town, the transport using a small vehicle as a trolley to carry the suitcases while we walked following this carriage. The hotel room is inside a courtyard of a Chinese-style house with a garden. Some rooms are upstairs with separate wooden stairs.

“Would stay again”

The owner were very friendly and introduced good food places and places of interests before we even asked. The place was in the centre of Lijiang Old Town and was thus very accessible everywhere. They even picked us up and brought us to the guesthouse.

Locate in a small valley in the old town which is nice and quite. Close to shops and easy to get to bus and train station.

Amazing location and great staff. The staff was so nice, everyone was very helpful, made us tea and explained to us how the city map worked and where to go! The room was super comfortable and clean! One of the best places I stayed so far!

“Excellent, Value for Money Inn within Lijiang Ancient Town”

Nice, little hotel with excellent ambience within Lijiang Ancient Town. Since it is 10 min walking distance from the main road, the free tricycle luggage transfer is really appreciated as it saves rolling luggages across the stone pathway. It is strategically located within walking distance to key attractions. There are restaurants to cater to different budget within walking distance. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Location was good. Very near to old town entrance. They help us to carry our luggage to the inn. They provide laundry and dryer service for free which is a bonus. The bed was heated and warm. They also let us check in early morning as our train arrived early.

The staff was helpful, professional and organized. The location was in a further part of the old town, just a few steps away from the main road in the quiet area. The room felt renovated and the decoration was traditional. It was clean and comfortable. The flowers in the garden were lovely.

I like how aesthetic the place, the room were really big, the interior look very classic chinese vibe, worth it to stay for vacation. The area also near to the south gate of Lijiang Old City

“Central Lijiang old town”

The guesthouse is located in back alley so very quiet area but still walking distance to the main plaza of the old town. Many restaurants around. Especially, only 5 minutes walk to the primary school, there is local restaurant opens from 5 am that serves many breakfast options.

We like so much. For those who dream to stay in oldest day.. this is a place. The guy very responsive while we are asking question. Fetch me at roadside. Its so incredible.. Tell us which the best tea in lijiang.

The position of the hotel is very good. In the center of the old town but not directly on the mainstreet, so it’s silent. And the staff were extremely friendly. They helped me a lot. The staff phoned my taxi staff for me and explained to them where I wanted to go. The hotel staff rescued me from awkward situations. I am very grateful to them!

Very helpful and they helped us a lot in translating Chinese to english while booking a group tour!

“Wonderful service at a great location”

Lovely traditional place which made us feel like we have been transported back to old times but with modern facilities. Location is within Lijiang old city, hence really convenient. Best of all is the service. The place is managed by 2 young men who were really helpful & caring, from helping us keep our laundry after it was done in the dryer, to expressing concern that I may catch a cold as I was not wearing a jacket at night, to helping my husband find his way back when he got lost. Kudos to them!

Everything almost perfect. I want to highlight the attributes of Miss Chu and her work mates for their kindness with me every time. Perfect English spoken. It was a pleasure spending a few days at Babylon Spa hotel. Very proud and grateful with reception crew. I'll be back sooner than later. 100% recommended!!
