Really nice staff, Merry came to the entrance of the city to show me the way to the guesthouse as it is a bit tricky. She answered really fast to messages through WeChat and helped me book a carpool to my next destination. The house itself is really nice with the patio. Great localisation, in the ancient town, next to bus 101 to Blue Moon valley and next to a food market.

Lovely, stylish court yard house full of character. Wooden interior makes for a cozy atmosphere. I had a ceiled window. Hot water was great, for December:). Near the South-Western gate, just inside the Old City. Convenient.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are large and a very nice location on a quiet street next to the night market! I highly recommend it! Don't hesitate to chat with Merry, the manager, and her two teammates, they are just incredible! This hotel was a real place of exchange, meeting and kindness. They took great care of me and offered me a very beautiful friendship as well as a wonderful memory, thank you!

“Solo traveler with pleasant stay”

**Location:** The guest house is in a very strategic location, near the main road and within walking distance to the old town ancient village. Souvenir shops are everywhere, making it easy to pick up gifts and mementos. **Room:** The guest house has an ancient village concept, which is both charming and affordable. As a solo traveler, this place suited my needs and budget perfectly. There is no elevator, but only a few stairs to reach your room. The heater in the room could use an upgrade as it doesn't make a big difference, but the shower compensates with really hot water, though you need to wait 3-4 minutes. Basic toiletries are provided. If you want your room made up, you need to inform the front desk, which was fine by me. The plug points have good power and charge devices quickly. The internet speed is normal, which is sufficient for general user.

“Perfect and simple stay at Lijiang!”

First the staff very helpful and polite. She will pickup you outside the old town and show road to the guesthouse. She also help me to return jacket that i borrowed from Tour guide. Second price very cheap. This price i cannot get in my country. Third, all basic need you will get like soap, toothbrush, towel, mineral water and the most important thing is heater on your bed. Four, the location very close to Main road. Easy to reach when you ride a Didi. But i must say it all basic. Do not complain because you pay the guesthouse with basic price also. Just enjoy the stay!

“Everything available at the doorstep”

Merry is a very responsive host that tries to fulfil our travel requirements. She helped to arrange value for money airport transfers and local tours (we went fo a day tour Shangri-la and visit most tourist spots along the way). It is such an experience staying in a traditional village guesthouse which is next to Zhongyi market with more than 100 shops and stalls. Near to bus stop to places of interest. We took Bus #101 straight to Yulong Snow Mountain resort for RMB15 one-way and pay our own entrance fee, etc. Very very convenient..

Owner has followed up and consistently checking on my arrival status even prior to departure from my origin country Hotel offered tour package at affordable price and it was a smooth journey that we had on last 1st June 2024 trip. Master/tour guide has patientlt awaits for our activity to complete, eventhough there's language barrier he manage to assist us well

We loved our stay in Lijang. The Old Town is beautiful and the guest house was in a great location. The room was clean and very cute. The staff at Lewo Guest House were fantastic. They went over and above expectations during our stay. The staff on the desk helped us to organise day trips and getting to our next destination as well as ordering a birthday cake, too. We definitely recommend Lewo Guest House to all who visit Lijang.
