Super friendly staff. We could even choose our room and actually did to one with a better view. Lovely converted old house in a great location near to shops, restaurants and fantastic sights. Great breakfast, coffee excellent. The owners have a tea plantation so we had lovely choices of tea served in a traditional Chinese way.

The stay felt like home. From the breakfast, to the room, to the view. Everything was so amazing. The staff was extremely welcoming; they gave us a basket filled with fruits upon our arrival as well as tea. They also gave us black tea as a gift. Cant wait to come back!

I spent 4 nights at the Jun Bo Hotel and absolutely loved my stay here. Such a nice peaceful location, the room was beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, the staff were lovely and accomodating and the breakfasts were excellent.

Beautifully designed with nice courtyard and garden with modern facilities such as automatic toilet flush, warmed seat and bidet. Spacious bedroom with the heated bed which is so comfortable. Delicious breakfast and friendly owner with attentive service. They even offer take away breakfast for two days due to our day tour that starts early in the morning. Free flow of fruits during our stay. Near attractions and many eateries within walking distance of Lijiang Old Town.

Beautiful family owned tea house. Very peaceful and nice escape from the loud noises and lights of the rest of the town. Amy the host was amazing and speaks very good English, very helpful. We were served tea constantly throughout the stay which helped us to relax and enjoy the town.

“A must stay hotel in Lijiang”

This beautiful hotel is run by a wonderful family, who were very helpful with any request we had. The hotel is traditional style, in the center of Lijiang Old Town, right next to the river. They made homemade breakfast everyday, either Chinese style or we could ask for a more Western substitute. They also produce their own tea, which you can taste and later buy! Their black tea is delicious, definitely worth trying. Our room was wonderful, beautiful, with a wet zone which had a shower, bath and a Japanese style toilet, which we enjoyed a lot. There was also a separare tatami area. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean. Excellent service, we could communicate in English without a problem, and they also helped us carry our luggage to the main street - all in all, this hotel deserves the highest rating possible, and we will definitely choose it again the next time we visit Lijiang!

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, in a very picturesque location on the banks of the canal. Thanks to this location, guests have the opportunity to explore the surroundings as much as possible without spending extra time and money on travel. The hotel itself, both inside and outside, is characterized by its beauty, authenticity, and great taste in design. The courtyard features a small bonsai garden where guests can sit and relax. I would like to express my gratitude to the owner of the hotel, Tracy, for her warm welcome and support throughout our stay. She speaks excellent English, has a deep knowledge of the city, and is always ready to assist us. On the day of our arrival, she not only provided us with information about the places and activities to visit in Lijiang, but also helped us with our travel arrangements. The breakfasts were very delicious and felt home-cooked. In addition to the fried eggs, the breakfasts included local dishes such as noodles, dumplings, and rice balls.

The Hotel is located in a very beautiful part of the Ancient Town of Lijiang. Amy the Hotel staff was very helpful, you can ask her anything about interesting thing around Hotel. The room was renovated from original old house, very authentic.

The homestay owners were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They even helped us to secure the best seats for the Lijiang Eternal Love show and arranged our return airport transportation seamlessly. They also shared many engaging hosting experiences and speacialty of Yunnan tea. Now my kids are still missing the koi feeding sessions. The warm and nourishing breakfast was especially comforting on a winter morning and truly touched our hearts. They have maintained the facilities so well. We would highly recommend this homestay to others.

My stay at this guesthouse in Lijiang was truly wonderful. The property is located right inside the old ancient town, tucked away in a cozy and strategic corner. It’s the kind of place that immediately makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The host and their family were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to share great advice on what to do each day, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area. They were also very supportive whenever I needed assistance, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed with a touch of oriental charm, almost like staying in a traditional ink-themed inn. Everything from the bed to the facilities was well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to relax and recharge, this place is perfect. The environment is calm and inviting, ideal for slowing down and simply enjoying the moment. The daily breakfast was another highlight — simple, local, and delicious, giving a true taste of Lijiang mornings. Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you might not even feel like leaving once you’ve settled in. This guesthouse is highly recommended.

Beautiful place that is clean and comfortable. More than the outward appearance the place is cosy, and owners were very warm and friendly. The restaurant they recommended was the best meal of the entire trip! Great hearty homecooked breakfast, one of the mornings when we had to leave early for photoshoot appointment, the owners specially gave us packed breakfast :)

“A quiet and relaxed stay.”

Property was located in the quiet area of Lijiang Old Town and it is no far from the South entrance. It retains the structure and feel of the ancient house but added modern facilities. Toilet facilities were modern and heated. Bed and linen were all very clean and comfortable. Staff, who were locals, were helpful and welcoming.

“Amazing retreat”

I loved the location, very popular among photographers but yet, very quiet and private once inside.. The sound of water when you leave the door open or sit around the courtyard. The rustic charm of the hotel was captivating. The facilities were very modern and clean. Amy, the hotel manager was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The team went out of their way to pack us breakfast for our early morning outing.
