“Nice hotel in quiet location, but downstairs rooms are not very private”

Staff were nice and great location up a quiet street in the north of the old Town. View from patio on 2nd floor is very nice and rooms are nicely decorated with good shower etc. only regret was not booking a room on the top floor as the downstairs ones are not very private - the only window looks out into public area. Room is quite dark too and duvet wasn’t very thick. Overall still a good stay.

The guesthouse offers a sense of tranquility amidst the bustle; a short turn around the corner will take you to the attractions and pedestrian street within the town.

“Comfortable stay in a safe environment”

Very good location near the main road so one doesn’t need to roll their luggage on the cobbled pathways for more than 150m (extremely hard to roll luggages). The remaining path to the accommodation is concrete flooring. Toilet has a washlet!!! So rare in China, absolutely loved it. Owner of property is friendly and helpful. Just outside is a Chagee and famous flower biscuit shop.

“Amazing!”

I had a wonderful stay at Jianshe Inn Lijiang. The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the Old Town of Lijiang, making it very convenient for exploring. The accommodation itself is cozy, clean, and very well taken care of — you can tell a lot of thought goes into maintaining the place. What impressed me most was the hospitality of the owner. Even after I had checked out, she went the extra mile to help me with locker storage at Kunming station. She kindly lent me her Chinese phone number so I could store my luggage there, which was a huge help and made my travel much smoother. Overall, Jianshe Inn is not only a lovely place to stay but also run by someone who truly cares about her guests. Highly recommended!

“Comfortable and convenient!”

The property is located within the ancient town but away from all the crowded areas - it’s quiet, convenient and near to the entrance to call for Didi. We were grateful to have our accommodation upgraded and we enjoyed the room a lot! It’s clean, well-furnished and had a really lovely view of the mountain. The front desk lady, 小青, was also very friendly and helpful. The most value-for-money choice in Lijiang and I’ll definitely recommend it!

“Superb location”

Location was fantastic. You don't want to stay too close to the centre of Lijiang Old Town as you will need to walk through cobble stone alley ways. Jianshe Inn was just a few minutes walk from the north gate, yet, you can reach every corner of the old town within half an hour walk. Staff are very helpful and kind too, and gave me good advice.

Having a view of the old town from the patio already made our stay here an experience like no other. It's clean, close to the gate and away from the hustle and bustle of both the outer city and the crowded old town.

“Lovely stay with clean, spacious rooms right inside Lijiang Old Town”

This is right inside the old town which is convenient. It is a lovely place with a great view of the sunset and the town (if you’re staying on L2). The sisters who run this place are extremely friendly and helpful. There is even a call-in massage service as well!

The hotel is absolutely amazing. I am travelling the world woth my son and this trip was the best we ever had. We ended up staying longer. The host is amazing. She keeps in touch by wechat and she answered all our requests. She made our stay so much easier! The room is really spacious with comfy beds. The view is outstanding. I miss my mornings, when I just stared out of the window on the ancient city rooftops. The location is great- very centrally located yet you just make 1 turn from the buzzlin street and it's absolutely quiet. We had best nights there. Also during the whole stay i never locked the room and we were out till late. This is how safe it is. Priceless. I am the host myself and usually approach the hotels with high demands, but this time there was nothing to complain about. I purely enjoyed everything.

I was really satisfied with my stay at this hotel! The owner is super kind and friendly – it truly felt like staying at home. Before checking in, it’s a good idea to contact the hotel via WeChat to get the exact location. If you’re looking for halal food or local attractions, just ask the owner – they’ll gladly share all the info you need! The room was super cozy – perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring. One of the best moments was when I felt dizzy after Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the owner served me a cup of tea – it was so good that I immediately felt better! The hotel can also help book your Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tickets and arrange a driver to your location if needed. The hotel’s location is perfect, right behind Lijiang Old Town – it was amazing to take evening strolls there. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who plan to vacation in Lijiang. Truly, a great stay!

The location. It was very near the ancient town where everything is. Only caveat is that if you have luggages, it’ll be a challenge to carry them through (but the staff can help contact a tricycle to help you deliver the luggages with extra cost.) The staff was the best! She helped us get to all the good restaurants, get us cars to and from airport, and even find us a massage place. The property was cozy and clean. No complaints!

“Best stay in Lijiang”

Everything about this hotel. Best hospitality provided by the staff - Snowy and another girl(sorry I forgot your name). They booked for us and arranged the best tours for the JDSM and Shagri-la at very last minute. The staff members speak good English and that really helps us a lot. The accommodation provides self-service free laundry as well. The room is clean, spacious and heating system works well. Location is very strategic in the ancient town. Please contact the staff upon your arrival so that she can arrange the porter for your luggages. Thank you so much for your kind assistance and this will be our stay in Lijiang whenever we are here again.

It’s in a quiet part of this old town that can get busy at certain parts of the day. Love the convenient location.
