“Amazing vacation home”

I traveled with my entire family to Lijiang. Sisi's place is the perfect accommodation for a family of 7 people – we are able to spend time in the living spaces and enjoy home cooked meals. The living area is so cozy, and the bedrooms are super clean and comfortable! Although there was a bit of water leakage in the guest house when we arrived, Sisi was very responsive and was able to coordinate repair immediately which is amazing. The guest house was as good as new in a matter of couple hours.

We stayed here in 2020 and it was a second time for us. We loved Eden Court and its host Hui. It is a luxury to enjoy a private garden during our stay. Nothing is better than just enjoying the sunshine in Lijiang.

There was some back and forth with booking.com, but eventually we booked the entire villa successfully. The owner followed up closely from the very beginning, liaising with booking.com to solve the technical issue as quickly as possible. She also helped with the accommodation of additional members in our group, giving good tips to dining and itinerary. I would say she is the most friendly and hospitable owner I have ever met so far. My heartfelt thanks to you, Xiao Hui! The villa itself is built with coziness and comfort as the top priority. It has all the standard amenities for everyday life, some with built-in smart technologies. It also has all the necessary heating systems you would need in winter. Personally, I love the electronic fireplace in the living room the most. Everyone can sit by the fireplace and enjoy some relaxing moments. One can tell the whole place is thoughtfully designed and carefully maintained with a passion for life. If you plan to stay in Lijiang for a few days, don’t miss this villa.

I booked the smaller house but got upgraded to the larger house, which was very well-amenitised, very clean and comfortable too. The place really does look exact like the photos online. It took me a while to get used to navigating the old city, but once you do, it’s quite easy to locate. Much quieter than other parts of the old city too, peaceful and with great views. However, the best part of this trip was Sisi, who was the most wonderful host I could’ve asked for. Incredibly kind and helpful, and very generous with her time. I’m so glad that I chose to book this place, both the people and the house made it home for my short 3 nights there :)

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.

“Perfect location, exceptional host”

It was right in the middle of old town, but far away from the bars and restaurants so quite quiet, right next to a stream so felt like staying in nature to some extent. Had our own private courtyard though didn’t use much as spent most of the time outside wandering. Owner was super nice and gave us tips about restaurants to try (and to avoid as tourist traps).

It was a lovely, roomy apartment, comfortable beds and extremely well-located, on a quiet street near the centre of Lijiang Old Town. Great balcony too, with nice views. The owner was brilliant - helpful, friendly and with lots of good advice. So we ate well too. A lovely short stay.

The perfect place for a family trip. The place is as pretty as a classic Jiangnan garden, but it also has all the fancy facilities you need. Located in the centre of the old town, you can see the whole town without having to go out. The host is friendly and knows LiJiang well. Staying here is both a physical and psychological cure.

The guesthouse is located in the old town of Lijiang. We absolutely fell in love with the amazing view from our room balcony. In the evening it was very cozy to sit on the balcony with a cup of local red tea. The bed and pillows in our room were comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Guesthouse host Sisi is a very nice lady, super friendly and helpful. She suggested a very nice local restaurant and helped us arrange a trip to Dragon Snow Mountain. If you want to get away from the noise of the big city, Lijiang and Eden Court are perfect for that!

great space good for families with children especially teenagers - decking to catch the sunshine - excellent location for walking to main area in ancient town. stayed in December - property well heated with hot blankets on all beds and electric fires in all rooms. crisp white towels and bedding. mainly Chinese selection for breakfast rather than western, but lots of options to choose from.

“Superb luxury in the heart of Lijiang”

Roof terrace was beautiful with excellent views of the surroundings. Fantastic host. Very accommodating. There was nothing that couldn’t be catered for! Would highly recommend.
