Beach opposite was great

“Good choice for a few days snorkeling”

We were there for snorkeling, and Luengoni beach a few minutes drive down the road was excellent - a very wide range of fish species, turtles, water snake, reef shark and octopus. Snorkel between the two islets a bit beyond the grotto, not at the south-east location that's marked on Google maps. The reef over the road from the hotel has very interesting limestone "canyons" to explore and a good range of fish species, though not plentiful. Reef sharks there too. The room was comfortable and important things worked - lights, fridge, fan, aircon, microwave etc. Food at the hotel restaurant was of ok quality and large servings; very friendly staff.

The hotel is a dream, with houses and the pool in a beautiful tropical garden right between the beach and the cliffs of Lifou. Very good food and excellent bar, the capital of the island can be reached within few minutes, very friendly staff and a well-stocked shop at the reception. I was really happy and would immediately visit again; I wish the entire team of the hotel all the best during these difficult times in New Caledonia.

The staff and management were exceptionally helpful. Our flight was delayed due to a strike for three days and the manager arranged all of the new travel arrangements. The food is fantastic.

“Lovely staff”

The rooms are simple, yet they have everything you need. My room was cozy, comfortable and clean. Lovely people work at this property. Despite the language barrier they are very helpful, friendly and appreciative. They will always greet you with a smile. The little white sandy beach at the front of the property is amazing, perfect for swimmig, snorkelling. If you are looking for a quiet escape, this is the place to be.

The staff were very friendly and the services offered, e.g. free wifi, car rental, tour bookings, were extensive and made our holiday easier. The a la carte (lunch and dinner) menu was extensive and meals were always high quality. The location is picturesque but a bit remote.

convenience and price

We liked the location, the fact that they had a restaurant that offered A la Carte menu with different specials each day, and for an island that has to transport in most goods the selection was very good Had a pool that was good for families and offered airport transfers and rent a cars Across road from small beach but would recommend a car to see all island sites and access larger beaches

Nice set up for a restaurant and a lounge. The staff is helpful and organises car rentals. The restaurant cooks delicious dinners and lunches. Rooms have air cons.

Dinner was great, cocktails were strong and the location is close to Chateaubriand Bay and Luengoni Beach- some of the lost beautiful beaches anywhere.
