“Spectacular view of the lake!”

The apartment had the most fantastic view of the lake. It was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The location was great with restaurants, supermarket, patisserie, pharmacy... just everything you need. You can catch the ferry right outside the apartment and the railway a short distance away. Great communication with Max. We loved it and highly recommend.

“Lovely quiet stay”

Location is fantastic - right on the lake in a small town. The ferry jetty is literally 20m from the apartment. Kitchen/diner is great for families - we cooked pasta dishes both nights as apartment has all utensils we needed. Host made contact with us to update regarding checking in and out which was useful and efficient

“One of the best places to stay right on the lake”

What can you say about a place that is aptly called "A dream on the lake". Literally just above the ferry terminal and a restaurant. Spacious, well appointed apartment with uninterrupted lake views. Complimentary bottle of bubbly and water in the fridge was a very welcome and nice touch. The train station, town centre and local shops are all just minutes walk away. The beach and some fabulous restaurants (Il Crotto) are just a 10 minute walk away and well worth it.

“It was amazing”

The place is true "hidden gem" in the area of lake Como! First of all, apartment is located almost directly on the lake, you can adore views of it through the windows of living room and one bedroom. Apartment has everything you need and is fully equipped. It is not very convenient to sleep on living room sofa (if you are bigger group and need three beds), but for us it was not a big issue. Under the place is a nice restaurant and ferry pier which connects Lierna with Bellagio. If you want to go to Varenna, you can also use a train which station is also in the walking distance. We were very impressed with the beach of Lierna and really calm and nice atmosphere of this village. Would recommend everyone to stay here instead of overcrowded Bellagio.

Absolutely the best place to stay. The owner was extremely helpful. The ferry is right next to the building, and you can easily explore the lake from there. Free parking is available next to the building. The apartment is huge, and you can easily get lost on your way to the bathroom 😁 the view from the apartment over Lake como is breathtaking. I will definitely return to A Dream On The Lake because that's what it exactly was.

"A dream on the Lake" is a lovely place to stay! We've spent four nights with five guys in september on a motorcycle trip, and all of us really enjoyed being here. You'll find two bedrooms (one double bed, one with two singles) and an extra double sofa bed in the livingroom/kitchen. The house is quiet at night, we all slept really well. While having breakfast we had a wonderful view on the lake. There is a ferry port just below the window and a train station in a three minutes walk. Restaurants, cafés, a bar and shopping is near by. Paolo (the owner) is friendly, always available (phone) and speaks fluent english. Thank's a lot!

“Beautiful view, lovely apartment, great host”

Beautiful location in quiet Lierna, away from the typical Como crowds. Paolo was very helpful and Dragana met us promptly with the keys and showed us around. The apartment had superb views across the lake, was very spacious and generally well equipped. Paolo recommended Il Crotto as a local restaurant which was very good also

View to the lake. Large appartement. Newly renovated. Friendly and pleasant host. Close to station, supermarket, lake, forest, mountains, restaurant, bakery. Calm place. Very local, away from tourist highway but close to take there in short time. Definately value for money.

The apartment and it’s location is just perfect.My family and I enjoyed staying there.I’m very grateful to the host Paolo, whom we saw only once,but who took care of us and was always available via What’s App if we had questions. The apartment is big,light and clean.It’s really pleasant to be there.The view on the lake is exactly like it’s on photos. We arrived very late in the middle in the night.Paolo sent us clear instructions in advance on how to get to the apartment.It was super easy,clear and fast. There was a bottle of water and wine for us as a compliment on the table inside.A bottle of water was exactly what was needed after a trip.Moreover,Paolo helped us to organize transfer back to the airport. Besides,you have absolutely everything in the apartment for a comfortable stay,even a fire distinguisher and a first aid kit.There are information folders with up to date information on tourist attractions and boat time tables.There is a boat venue just down stairs near the apartment.You can see it from window.You can easily get by boat to the towns on the Lake Como. In 5 minutes walk there is a train station which was very comfortable also. As for the town,Lierna,it is small,beautiful and calm.You can easily get to the other locations from there by boats,trains and a car.There is a cafe on the square, couple of shops and a pharmacy near by. We really enjoyed our stay.I absolutely recommend that place.
