“Excellent apartment, close to city centre”

Clean and fully equipped apartment, with a comfortable double bed and a large sofa that sleeps 2 people. Excellent location just a short walk from city centre. Host is very kind.

“Work in progress; not ready for prime time”

Phone contact with host when my train was delayed was pleasant, and he arranged to have someone on site just 15 minutes after the agreed time. Wifi worked well. Nice view out the window (from the 11th floor of this incongruous tower-block style building which I thankfully couldn't see because I was looking out). Very good location for the university event I was attending.

Very central and great price, place is relatively quiet.

The apartment was very well equipped. The views were amazing. The bed was comfortable. It was clean. The views of 1000's of starlings doing their murmuration in the skies . Highly recommended apartment.

Small but well equipped apartment. Good clean kitchen with a large fridge/freezer. Comfortable double bed. Comfortable couch for relaxing. Clean bathroom with a good shower and plentiful hot water. Due to train delays (German trains running more than an hour late, no surprises there), we had to communicate with the owner several times leading up to our stay. Each time his response was fast and professional. It was easy to catch public transport to the property and the owner was waiting at the entrance to meet us. The neighbourhood looks a little dodgy, the building is quite run down and the elevators are an interesting experience, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable apartment within walking distance to all the highlights of Liege, I would highly recommend this place. The toilet paper was the best quality I have experienced in the last 70 days travelling throughout Europe. It seems like an odd thing to comment about, sure, but it is little touches like this which show that the owner takes some pride in presenting a quality apartment.

“Ideal stopover travelling back from Switzerland to the UK”

I have to say my first impressions weren't the best - an 11th floor apartment in a tower block! But once the apartment door was opened everything inside was superb - the hosts had though of everything, down to a tube of toothpaste and a box of sugar cubes. Everything was modern, everything worked; I thought a tower block might be noisy, but all was quiet on both nights that I stayed. And being on the 11th floor the view out over Liege in the morning was superb.
