Overview
Located on the beach in Ostia, Litus Roma offers free parking. It is 800 metres from Ostia Lido Centro Station for trains to Rome. Litus Roma Hostel is a historic building featuring a variety of accommodation types. Rooms and dormitories come with a TV, fan and bathroom with toiletries, bed linen and towels included. Litus Roma is a 10-minute walk along the seafront to Ostia's port, home to many restaurants and tourist attractions. The archaeological ruins at Ostia Antica are 10 minutes' drive away or 2 stops on the train for Rome. You can reach Rome in 30 minutes by the Freccia del Mare metro, with buses to the station stopping right outside the hostel. Fiumicino Airport is a short drive away.

“The place was a little run down but for a quick night near the airport it did the trick.”
The location was nice, close to the beach and not far from good places to eat. The room was fine. The bed was clean and comfortable. There were lots of places in the common areas to lounge and hang out, which was nice.

“In front of the beach and spacious rooms”
The location is great, right a few steps from the beach and close to bus stops or 12-15 minute walk to Lido Centro. The staff were super nice, welcoming and helpful! I ended up staying way longer than my initial plan and it was really very comfortable to stay there.

“Last minute booking due to other accommodation cancelling”
Booked last minute after our accommodation cancelled on us and they were quick to confirm and offer us a room. Staff were helpful and friendly and the free WiFi was helpful for me to find alternative accommodation for the rest of our stay

“very basic”
Near the beach - this is really the Only Big advantage of this Hostel. If you want a cheap accomodition for example to visit Rome a few days, them it's O.k. The metromare train is good.

The personnel was great and very helpfull. The check-in is 24/7 so there wasn't a problem to be in Ostia at the midnight. I could also leave my bag in the deposit, without any problem.

“It was a good choice for what I needed: easy to reach, a bed and a shower and meeting nice people.”
I like the interior of the hostel, it is spacious, there is a lot of light, the bathroom is large and neat. The whole property is minimal, perfect for some nights of sleep if that's what you need.
