Beautiful property with large clean rooms

We had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Giardino. Alessandra and Silvano made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, and their warmth and hospitality really made the difference. A special thank you for all the thoughtful details — the late check-out, safely storing our bikes, and even preparing pasta for us on race day 🙏 Such genuine care and kindness are rare to find. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend — we hope to see you again soon!

The entire staff was wonderful and very attentive. The service was of a truly high standard, and the hotel is beautifully maintained with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and overall it felt like a perfect balance of quality and price — an excellent choice.

“4 nights in coastal Tuscany”

This hotel is a gem - lovely staff, pretty room, gorgeous garden, safe location, delicious food. We don't have a word of Italian and there isn't much English spoken in the hotel but it didn't matter and it felt like we were really immersed in the area (most of the other guests were Italian I think). We opted to have dinner here on two nights as we were a little early in the season for the resort with not all restaurants open. It was a great decision as the food was sublime - I'm not sure what type of fish I ate but it was delicious and my partner had pork both nights which he really enjoyed! Breakfast really good, fresh and varied and scrumptious. The owners are really welcoming and warm, and the other guests were lovely too - the hotel has access to a couple of beaches at a discount so we would see the other guests there too who always had a friendly wave! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a relaxing break in this area - the free bikes were a huge bonus and we had a lovely day cycling to ViaReggio and then back up to Pietrasanto for a delicious lunch in a Trattoria with all the local families having Sunday lunch, and onwards along the coast - all of which has very safe cycling lanes. We didn't have a car and relied on buses/trains for getting around (Lucca was a lovely day trip) and travelling from the airport and all worked very well. I will be recommending this hotel to any friends visiting coastal Tuscany!

We were always greeted warmly by everyone and it was obvious that love and care are put into the garden,the restaurant and the rooms. It was close to the sea front and we enjoyed using the bikes to cycle to Viareggio along the front. We liked being able to park at the property. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable.

Family run hotel, very personal touch. Lovely restaurant staff, dinner (3 course menu, very good) inclusive at very small extra cost. Beautiful garden setting. Very close to the sea and the boulevard. Free bicycles.

Lovely staff, gorgeous really cool old fashioned room and about 1 minute walk to the beach, really enjoyed our stay

They prepared nice room for us as a surprise for my girlfriend, however the bed was really noisy so host helped to choose us other room without problém. Hotel is at perfect place 3 streets from the beach, free parking.
