Apartment was large and close enough to Plitvice Lakes, 15-20 minutes drive. Hosts were flexible with check in time. Friendly and liked to chat through the use of a translator app.

“Amazing host and huge appartment”
Amazing owners, huge appartment. We were welcomed with a beer, brandy and fresh pastries. Owners do not speak English or German but communicate with Google Translate. They were so friendly we felt very comfortable.

“We would visit this place again, lot of good memories here!”
Our stay at Blue Moon Apartman was splendid! The house was near Plitvice Lakes, making it accessible for us. The property by itself is really beautiful! The owners have a well-maintained garden in front of the house, the rooms are tidy and clean and it’s well equipped! Our host, Ms. Draga Radivojevic welcomed us with delicious homemade jam-filled crepes and coffee. They also have two lovely playful cats at home! The family speaks Croatian and they use translation to communicate. I think this speaks volumes about the effort they put in to make the host feel comfortable. Her son spent some time with us explaining the history of the location and suggested a visit to an abandoned air base which was in fact worth visiting!

The owners of the guesthouse are super friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home immediately. I was treated with homemade brandy and got delicious pancakes too upon my arrival. The apartment is very clean and large and has a nice couch, kitchen and a separate bedroom. It is also very quiet at night. It is about 20 minutes of driving to the beautiful Plitvice Lakes and the same distance to a supermarket and restaurants, as in the village itself, there are not many facilities. On the day that I left, the son of the hostess took me to the abandoned airport that was used in the war and taught me a lot about the events that took place there. This was definitely a very unique and interesting experience!

Everything was excellent. They have met me very warm with delicious pancakes. The view from room was amazing. Very comfortable and big apartments for traveling through Pletvice lakes
