Overview
Set on its private beach on the South coast of Sicily, Serenusa Resort is 7 km from Licata. It offers 2 swimming pools, a selection of sports facilities and entertainment for all ages. Offering a balcony, rooms here have Mediterranean-style décor and include a fridge and private bathroom. Some have sea views and the ground-floor rooms have a patio. Guests can enjoy a mix of Sicilian and classic Italian cuisine at the buffet restaurant. Parents can prepare meals for babies in the kitchen. There are 2 adult pools, 1 suitable for swimming and the other with water slides. There is an additional pool for children at the mini club. You will also find a children's play area with inflatable toys. There is an open-air theatre, dance hall and disco. Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples are around 40 minutes' drive away. A shuttle is available from/to Catania Fontanarossa Airport, a 2-hour drive away.

“Expected much more from Italy”
The hotel has a very large terrain and well situated at 1st line on the beach; several sport fields; large free parking. Animation - overall good but too much speaking and only in Italian. For kids, nothing good. Good food at dinners. Good base, bad management.

“It's a resort, you know what your are going to get”
The resort is well run and tidy; the rooms have a decent size and the staff is super helpful and very kind. The Sicilian food soire' was really good although let done a bit by being a buffet (you can have everything); in general, the variety of the food was above average.

“A lovely few days at Serenusa.....”
Lovely resort. Best features were the pool area and beach and all inclusive sports. The resort was very clean, and the staff awesome. Food was good - buffet style - with varied options

Old facilities, mold on the walls, I found ants in my bed. I Had to change room 3 times during 2 days. Food was simple in comparing with others hotels on Sicily. Not recommended

“Beautiful Location but incompetent staff”
Location is undeniably stunning with its beautiful beach and nice swimming pools. The staff responsible for the entertainment (animatori) were fantastic, their shows are amazing and they are always so welcoming.

Staff is not helpfull. My room smell chloride. Wi-fi was not avalable 2 days, what was very uncomfotable. Not recommended. Furthermore I didn't recevied invoice for my stay.

Location and Facilities are amazing. Food was good, even though one would expect a little more from a place like Sicily, but way more than decent considering it was a buffet. We were on a full board basis, breakfast was by far the best every day.
